Points 1-5 all correct. It is becoming harder to defend Wenger these days. But lets say there were no quality options available. Well that's a silly argument any way.
shocked shocked shocked pls wake me up....so u just understand wen I said d man has lost it, imagine 200m nd no quality, aswear d man is high on alomo

He should be told to sit and build, he is best there. Cazorla can't defend. We need Ramsey's energy in the middle with Coquelin.
Cazorla's primary duty is not to defend but to build up play, which you rightly stated here...
Keky:
And Cazorla tracks his marker yh? Lool only thing Cazorla does is dribble out of tight position, period. He's done nothing this season. Can't mark, can't score.
His chances of scoring are now restricted because he now plays from a deeper position.

Ramsey's best position is AM, but just as Walcott, he has to play other roles because the special ability to make runs into opponents dangerous areas. He can also assist when we have to defend.

Imagine that Ramsey though a midfieder is better than Ox (who is a winger) on the wings.

concerning ox and ramsey, what ramsey has over ox for now is that he defends better . Ramsey does 3 jobs in the team . He plays as the winger, help out as defensive midfielder ,helps out bellerin and lastly pops over all over the pitch. He really need to hit a very bad form before wenger would drop him. He is one of the first players on his team sheet

Let's not get it twisted, Wenger is still a very good tactician. But it seems those eyes that could spot hidden talents have waned as the years go by.

Oh I miss David Dein. Those years Arsenal were known for buying the best young talents in Europe - Bergkamp, Overmars, RvP, Reyes, Pires, Kanu, Henry, Ljungberg, Wiltord, Hleb, ...

Away from Arsenal...
The struggles Chelsea are facing is a testimony to the fact that Mou is tactically poor and relies on his stars to win titles. So now that 'suddenly' Hazard and co aren't doing well, Mou can't help it. Don't forget that Chelsea still has about the best first 11 in the premier league.

What did u mean about no quality options

Was that why we lost to Birmingham in the caling cup or Bradford city

Just because of Cazorla, Özil had to come back to build up play, so what exactly is Cazorla building? When Özil is the one that goes back to receive ball from the defenders and build up play.

Wenger is a good tactician, lmao. You should be a stand up comedian. Same Wenger young managers have out witted both home and abroad. Loool.

I also said it was a silly argument/excuse to make.

May be AW has lost his gift of talent spotting which may explain why he couldn't spot any during the last transfer window.

If you saw the game vs Leicester, you would agree that when a team comes out to play, its very exciting. You will agree with me that any team that does that with Arsene is on a suicide attempt.

I am not talking about negative football tactics as introduced by JM. You win by playing a ten man defence- that's negative football.

People will call negative football good as long as you win, but for me it's no tactics at all; it destroys the very essence of playing soccer.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by proudly9ja(m): 1:12am On Oct 02, 2015
It's not just about spotting talent, when he was asked why he didn't buy Martial after watching him for a long time, AW said he didn't think Monaco would sell. What's that?
Arsene doesn't do well competing for players when other clubs are interested or when the selling club proves stubborn. How many times have we lost players just because another club is interested? Or how many times have we had to wait for a player's contract to run out just because his club is proving stubborn?

Players are always available for the right price.

Pure nonsense I read here ehn..........Mourinho is tactically poor, just imagine .......What's next? Messi is technically poor

Mourinho is tactically poor, that should send you to jail....But Wenger is tactically sound should get you a firing squad.....

I don't like negative football but the whole essence of football is to win. Playing the right tactics implies setting up your team to win.

Do you know why the Emirates is always full on match days unlike Stamford despite that it is twice in capacity and that both are in London?

The same questions Abram asked that led to Mou's first sack, as the team began to play badly in an attempt to entertain.

Yes, the essence of footie is not to win but to entertain. Winning becomes important only when entertainment is achieved.

Nobody is asking us to play negative football in every game. There are teams we will beat easily even with our brand of football but it is sheer arrogance if we refuse to adjust our style to match opposition tactics.

Despite the array of stars at his disposal, look at where Chelsea are on the table. I am talking about someone that has the best squad, best player in the top 3 divisions in England, someone that has over 30 quality players on loan across the top leagues in Europe.
