So she awarded oil fields to Aluko and Aiteo despite their not having expertise in oil drilling, they were just middle men pocketing certain percentages from real oil companies doing the drilling themselves ![]() Her crime would be making these awards to non-professional oil drillers, right? Unfortunately, that's how we do it in Nigeria. The so-called indiginization policy of the oil fields has more to explain for the anomaly than her committing a crime. Before anyone gets lost, think about all the other non-oil experts with billion dollar contracts from the government since the days of Buhari and Abacha himself. Theo Danjuma is not Shell, yet he has oil fields awarded to him. Ms Alakija is not Agip, yet she has oil fields to her name, other useless politicians cum middle men are all over the place from Alhaji Indimi, to Alhaji Dantata/Dangote. We want this can of worms opened wide, real wide!!! |

Some comments want to make you cry for Nigeria. There's no excuse for stealing our nation's wealth, there's no reason for the incessant killings by Boko Haram. These two things are the worst things we have to deal with as a nation presently. There's no reason these two evils shouldn't be fought at the same time. The thieves that have enjoyed free money won't go down without a fight even if it includes hiring dimwitted folks to come online to spew crap. This is the same way Boko Haram won't go down without a fight even though they are getting weaker. Corruption and terrorism both kill en masse both are equally evil. Both should be eradicated and this government is making an effort to combat both even though we won't be satisfied until both these evils are brought down to the barest minimum |

Decibel:We are waiting for Ohaneze and Olisah Metuh and Chukwudi44 to come defend them as they usually do. Even when their own people call them thieves, your gang are ready to provide ignoble support. The marketing of "our brother and our hardworking sister defence". |

Decibel:Evasive tactics again? Of what relevance is this to the topic or your money loving gang who can slave for any accused person in Nigeria? Your eyes are now open that justice must be done irrespective of the tribe of the accused. Let's see if a Yoruba group will spring up alleging tribal witch-hunting like your type are wont to do. Shame on you and your ilk. You're a waste of education. Aluko should go and hire ohaneze to stage a protest on his behalf. |
