Arase is in professional. His knowledge of policing is limited, or at best academic. |

I am alarmed at the rate people pass negative judgment/comment on the NPF. Kudos to those who are dispassionate in their opinions on issues as it affects the force. Shame on the, am not surprised, quite a large number whose only stock in trade is to berate and castigate. Funny majority of these same people are wont to call a cop relative at the slightest instance they enter police wahala. Blessed be thy day Nigerians would learn to appreciate their police and support every effort to make the force capable of meeting the country's security needs while yet acting withing the confines of established constitutional means. To those who who approach issues without bias, again, I say a big thank you. You people honestly have no idea how gladden we are even as we work harder to be better. God bless you all. |

omolami:Poster. What do u know about being a pro? The current IGP has held very sensitive positions in the Force. In addition, he is also very concerned about the challenges faced by the Force. If I may add, IGP Arase also champions the protection of human rights just like his predecessor IGP Suleiman Abba. I know he may not shine in all ramifications, but truth be told, the man is trying his best. |

It is AIG Tunde Ogunsakin that they want to package as the new IGP. This is coming from an insider. Mark this post and refer to it when the time comes. |

IGP ARASE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE LAWS OF NIGERIA AND THE POLICE FORCE........ THE MOST PARTISAN IGP IN NIGERIAN HISTORY. ARRESTING WITNESSES THAT ARE TESTIFYING AGAINST AMAECHI AND DAKUKU, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE COURT PREMISES, POLICE MEN AND CIVILIANS ALIKE. NOT ONCE NOT TWICE............SENDING A PARTISAN MESSAGE NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN ELECTION TRIBUNALS |
| Re: Plot To Sack IGP, Arase, Thickens - Nigerian Tribune by MrMcJay(m): 11:32am On Oct 05, 2015 |
kettykin:He is better than Arase in terms of Operations and Investigations as Arase has been more of an academic and 'executive' policeman compared to Ogunsakin. Ogunsakin has one problem: He is very corrupt. In fact, while he was a top gun at EFCC, he got a mercenary to write his law exam at Uniabuja. Hence, he was removed from EFCC. He was also recommended for dismissal. He was also the CP at Special Fraud Unit before being promoted and transferred to Rivers State to take over from MBU. During the elections, he openly disobeyed Suleiman Abba (the then IGP) and Jonathan ordered his transfer out of Rivers. I think he's someone loyal to the APC, but he is very corrupt. |

| Re: Plot To Sack IGP, Arase, Thickens - Nigerian Tribune by MrMcJay(m): 12:37pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
kettykin:That's exactly the issue. I just hope Buhari manages to whip him in line. |
| Re: Plot To Sack IGP, Arase, Thickens - Nigerian Tribune by kettykin: 12:47pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
MrMcJay:Whip him in line or look for a clean senior officer |
| Re: Plot To Sack IGP, Arase, Thickens - Nigerian Tribune by MrMcJay(m): 2:40pm On Oct 05, 2015 |
kettykin:It is extremely difficult to get a clean senior officer at that rank. Most of the clean guys have been frustrated out of the force or had their promotions retarded. Hence, they are of considerable lower ranks. I know of a couple of them though at Commissioner cadre. Remember that even Ribadu's greatest opposition was within the NPF. |

With what is going on in this country, I am sure Nigeria will be catch fire! There are six Geo-political zones in Nigeria, and Buhari is making it look like four, or five. He who fetches ant-infested firewood had better not get tired of receiving lizards as guests! |
