We know jare, and Falae didn't say unequivocally that they are fulani, he said "they appeared to be fulani" and "they spoke Hausa"'. I never lived in the north but spoke a little Hausa, so it could still be IPOB youths that are trying to make what is about to hit them into a 3 way run.

We must deal with Ibos now and take care of fulani later.
has slavery reduced you to a state of mental madness? Cowardice truly runs in your blood

Ibos have bullied you into submission!
I knew by the time all is said and done, there won't be more than a few left to stand against Ibos in Yorubaland.

And if this an attempt to prove to those who have called you wytecat that you are not, it shows you care what people call you, either way, it makes you look like you can't take a stand and stick to it whether rain or shine.

If you don't know it by now that what Ibos are doing is worse that of fulani, you are already a lost cause

A whole tribe that is abusing you daily for no reason in your house, and telling you that your land has been bought and belongs to them, and that you are surrounded by their youths who are ready to set SW on fire if you try anything huh This people have insulted Yoruba king and will do anything to sabotage Yoruba interest right under our noses, and you are calling me a northerner huh

Do you know the psychological damage Ibos do to the very young Yoruba minds with all the names calling?

Watch front page of nairaland, if Ibos pictures are posted, you hear good comments but when Yoruba pictures make it, you hear "why is this on front page". Why do Ibos think you don't deserve any respect? It's because they know you would be too scared to demand
for it.

Yoruba can't be preoccupied with Nigerians problem leaving their sole responsibility, that makes you COWARDS!
SHUT up. These igbos you are making noise about don't open their mouth to the hearing of a yoruba man, you must be a fool to take their noise on nairaland and other social media as anything real, they swallow their hateful words and dare not say nonsense talk less of attacking a yoruba

You are probably among the psychologically damaged ones, your whole perception of life is based on nairaland and social media. .such a pathetic life

Fulani herdsmen have bullied you into submission, look how you protect criminals, the same one that rape and kill you when they feel like, this is what I call the Afonja syndrome

Wulfruna:
Brother mi, easy oh! grin

But truly, the scape-goating is sad and very very shameful. If I am to speak the truth, I see Igbos as largely loudmouthed and irritating (very irritating, honestly), rather than a real threat. I can't fathom how anyone who is familiar with the violence being wrecked by the herdsmen in central and southern Nigeria could lead himself into thinking that Igbos are a bigger threat. It is beyond me.
grin grin forgive me

But you would agree that any person who thinks igbos are a greater threat only needs to have members of his family suffer what others have suffered in the hands of the criminals among these herdsmen (which happen to be the majority)

I've been here longer than you are, and anybody can be bullied at any age. This is what has happened here, of course you will not agree with me nd that's fine.

There are not very many fulani on nairaland, the fight is different from Ibos.
Yoruba elders should have banned them when they were destroying people's livelihood, not until a so called big fish got taken.

All I'm interested in now is what Yoruba leaders are doing now to stop the herds men. If they don't do anything and this happens again I will be the first to say I told you so.
Even if only one Fulanis exist, still discuss the problem.

Don't wait for Yoruba leaders. You can start the conversation online.

Ok let's keep doing the talking online while fulani are taking the action life.

Cowardly Goat, you are just afraid of Ibos who are on your case daily and prefer to go after people you don't know who they real are.

I'm sure you will eat your words if fulani start bullying you like Ibos are here on naira land.

You toothless dogs are barking online while Fulani have just restamped their authority by going back to the farm, what are you people going to do now?

COWARD, tell me how you running away from bike into train to save face is working for you now?

The jury is out, and Yoruba will forever be confirmed cowards if action is not taken swiftly now.

Exactly.

And why is he trying so hard to shift the focus from Fulanis?

Are Fulanis so elusive that we can't discuss them again?

Yorubas need to wake up.
On point!

You are one of the COWARDS and your help is needed to go and face fulani where you can find them, not online.

Your mother is INSANE! OLOSHI OLORIBURUKU!

Cowardly bittcch, you are needed on the field where fulani are, not here online.

Fulani have just done it again!
Show them you can do more than the empty trash talking online you hope fulani can't hear.

macof:
grin grin "she" claims to be a christian yoruba, but I doubt anyone can believe that. I bet wytecat is a Northerner or just insane cus no sane yoruba person can be like this

The mumu doesn't even know what to bank on. ..whether Falae planned it all or igbos were the kidnappers
Funny the fool is asking for proof when he can't prove any of his claims
We have testimonies from witnesses that fulani maggots did it mumu is dreaming about igbos... Pls where are your witnesses? @ wytecat

Ok wait, wait so you finally admit that the fulani were on that farm before causing trouble. . Good that's one step forward

Now to ur accusation of me being a coward. . What would you have me do? Bring you the head of an igbo man for insulting yorubas on nairaland?
Why would I even do that? When in real life igbos don't dare pick a fight with a yoruba man
It's you that's the coward here, hiding under the sand in the face of fulani herdsmen killing your brothers(that's if you are even yoruba at all)

It's really frightening that insults on a social network gets to you more than real life threat to lives and property

Such a pathetic life Goddamn

ODE, I stand on fulani didn't kidnap Falae!

Fulani run through all farms not just falae's.

Stop talking and show the world that you are NOT COWARDS by fighting back where you are fought, right their on the field.

Fulani, whether true or false have just gone to the farm after riot rights were read to them.

Do something COWARD, do something.

Your emotions in this matter revolves around pride. In the face of repeated barrage and noise making and insultive comments by Ibo you are looking for a decisive strike from Yoruba to inflict pain on its attackers and remove doubts about our strength.

You have had various of that happened in small measures over pas three years in which Yorubas directly struck blow at Ibo's ego and brought them to their knees. That did not stop their labelling us cowards even as pictures emerged of their leaders in Ladipo market laying on their bellies on the ground begging Mushin LG Chairman to have mercy. A packload of Ezes came from East on pilgrimage to worship Fashola and beg for relief for Ladipo. That's the elite and top of the chain of their societies making a trip to Yorubaland to beg...yet Ibo still claimed they are brave and Yoruba is coward. When Oba of Lagos summoned their Ezes to his Palace and issued them a directive on which way to vote and if they voted against his endorsement he would drown them in Lagoon, Ibos made noise and ran to ICJ for protection. Yet they label us cowards.

I have taken time to dig up this article in my archive, i want you to take time to read it in its entirety. OPC has served Yoruba very well, they are not righteous or perfect and Yorubas have been ruthlessly dealt with in their aggression to fight crime and restore dignity and morals to the land but it is also Yorubas that called for their ban saying this is 21st century and barbaric tactics adopted by OPC are outdated....particularly after the Ejigbo pepper incident. Well, we did away with archaic methods before we have acquired twentyfirst century methodologies for defending our homeland. Its a shame to see how we are conflicted about our timeline in history and the struggle to survive Nigeria. We cannot wish away the reality that we live in a jungle, not in Rome....and jungle tactics is still relevant regardless what millenium it is on the Roman calendar.

Anyway.....follow link, read and let me know what you think.

I really don't have to open that link, your comment alone did it for me.

I had always been a great fan of Opc, and I idolized Gani Adams until the last elections when he lost his mind.

You are the only one here with the understanding of where I'm coming from(I almost felt like I had been taken to an alien planet for a minute, wondered how I could be that misunderstood.) In addition to that these are other points
1. I didn't want Ibo to be the people that get this conversation started, this like some kind of joke to them.
2. I didn't want Ibos to get what they wanted by using Yoruba alone to face fulani when it's all Nigerians problem, since there can still be Yoruba v Ibos skirmish over Lagos. I don't want Yoruba fighters to be stretched thin.
3.fulani's atrocities can only be curtailed on the fields where they happen, not online. While it's a great rallying point, it may just end here online without much by foot soldiers if too much noise is made about it here. There are things Yoruba can do to stop fulani trampling over people's farms.
4.There is Pdp/Apc angle to it, which should NEVER be allowed. Yoruba must put party aside to face common challenges.

I'll stop here for now, and check link.

Do we have problems internally that we need to hurriedly attend to? Yes! This is no time to bicker at internal issues.

I agree Ibo is a problem, a gnat, and we need to permanently resolve their problem. Ibo dare not attack Yoruba physically, they are well aware of the consequences and don't need to be coached in that area at all. While they are too afraid to strike a blow they take to internet and hide behind pseudonyms to insult us with labels. The tongue lash is an irritation nonetheless but Ibo is well contained and psychologically programmed to such a level that they are detrimental as a willing force to any ill intention of Biafra against Yoruba.

The Fulani issue is a serious one because it is multi layered. We need a regional policy for dealing with the issue of Fulani. I would like for you to go in archives and study the track records of Agbekoya in Yorubaland. Agbekoya, in the 60s, brought the whole Government of Western Nigeria to an almost standstill that Chief Awolowo himself had to come to terms with their demands. If what we are seeing frim Fulani in this times happened back when Agbekoya was active Miyeti and ACF will not be yarning crap....because all Fulani Chiefs in SW would already have been declared non-entity and told to evacuate immediately and explain later. Instead, we have Fulani Chiefs asking if we are sure Falae was kidnapped by herdsmen.

Even OPC, which is child's play compared with Agbekoya, would already have few Fulani heads hanging on a stake if this had happened before they were defanged.

Yoruba is not timid nor shy when it comes to inhumane treatment of those it considers threats to its security, however, we never go to UN or ICJ calling for help when these mothrfvkers, whether Ibo or Fulani, harass and assault us.....but the moment we open heat on their @ss they are quick to run to Human Rights and ICJ and report our atrocities.

In closing, I plead with you to calm down and not join hands with those throwing stones at our glasshouse.

Re: We Did Not Kidnap Olu Falae – Fulani Herdsmen by Decibel: 2:59am On Oct 08, 2015
MayorofLagos:
I hope you know, wytecat, that this kidnap has a footprint. There have been several encounters between Falae and Fulanu herdsmen. The last before the kidnap was a mediated case in which the Fulani herdsmen and their representatives were billed a certain amount of reparation to avoid court case. They could not pay the whole amount and settlsd for about half or so. The herdsmen we are talking about are those who violate property and boundary rights, who destroy farmlands and when opposed attack the owner and murder or kidnap him...and these herdsmen have a face, or do they not?

In parting with him Falae said his captor warned if he went out there and talk nonsense he will return and get him. This is a relationship of authority. Fulani is imposing himself as authority over a Yoruba icon....get this, on his own soil!

How did that happen?

Falae himself is a contributor. When he billed them a certain amount and they offered him less, why did he yield to their insulting offer and took it? Thats the beginning of subordination, is it not?

Academic knowledge has done a lot of damage to Yoruba's consciousness....it has taken away our ability for assertion and substituted it with readiness to yield to others nonsense.

This is Mayor of Lagos. I repeat...FVK FULANI!
