I can bet many of these Portharcourt wailers plus their master Wike must have taken this battle even to babalawos and spiritual fathers..Amaechi must not be made a minister. FAILED PROJECT!

Someone asked two simple questions: why did President Buhari nominate Rotimi Amaechi for a ministerial appointment? What will he bring to the table? And we give this simple answer: Rotimi Amaechi was Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly for 8 years. He became Governor of Rivers State afterwards, for another 8 years. He was very successful in these positions .

The little distraction and hatred only came when he fought former President Goodluck Jonathan for 'stealing' the oil well which clearly belonged to Rivers State and giving it to Bayelsa State. As things stand now, even GEJ's boy and current Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has taken up the same fight to insist that the oil well taken from the State by his former boss, belong to Rivers State. Amaechi's fight was for Rivers State. The oil well is not and cannot be his personal property.

If you asked what he has achieved as a person, we won't go too far. He recently led a campaign (as Director-General of the Buhari Campaign Organisation) that eventually defeated an incumbent President, a no-small feat. And for the first time in the nation's history, an Opposition party became the ruling party by gaining more States, more seats in the National Assembly and the Presidency.

This alone, is an experience the young man will bring to bear in his new position as Minister.

Rotimi Amechi fought a sitting President to a stand still,if you think a Governor can now outsmart him think again. Are you a learner? And if Rotimi Amechi was as corrupt as Wike led administration is painting him,he could not had taken the risks he took moving against GEJ against all odds. It is one thing to set up 21 Commmission of Inquiries and another thing to convict even one. The battle front is now shifted to the Senate on Tuesday and believe you me the Lion of Niger Delta will be cleared.He has the gut,contact,connection even among some PDP Senators especially most Former Governors in the Senate to see him through,those Rivers state Senators will only shout just like the Obanikoro in 2014 scenerio while the simple majority of APC and some PDP Senators will clear him.

Why did u specify 2nd tenure?? the wike that is forming prob now was his time as a minister clean?? how do u expect Amechi to do much when Jonathan took rivers oil n gave to bayelsa n abia? ? and those places where taken during his 2nd tenure.
