There is serious low power supply recently, the whole of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State is experiencing almost total blackout for some days now. There is serious power shortage supply in the country recently, i do not know where you get this your impression of improved power supply in the country

Hehehe! When the present tariff is much more than the minimum wage, How do they want the workers to survive? With no salaries being paid, no food, blackness gradually enveloping everywhere, deplorable roads, inflation.... Now they want to finally take electricity away from them. how does the APC want the poor masses to even survive? How pathetic. Is this the change they were promised?
Buhari fall my hand on this one o!
Is it the fault of the consumer, that the GENCO suffers up to 40% loses?
Why then must it be the responsibility of the consumer to bear the brunt?

Maybe the Govt should also be ready to increase BASIC salaries by equivalent 40% .... or is that extra 40% for "loses" going to come from Mars?

Our Govts are just too callous and unrefined!
Why dont you improve the DISCO's infrastructures and whatever is causing the loss and spare us all these bullshyte!

The rich people in govt dont care even if you increase tariff by 200%, they can afford it ..... but it is the poor at hat are being tasked, despite their #18,000 minimum wage!

or is Buhari telling us that Electricity is no longer for the poor?

the improvement is temporal for as long as na body language baba intends to use to sustain and expand what GEJ left for him. By the way, the improvement is still far below what is needed. Raising tariff is wickedness where purchasing power is falling or at best stagnant and insufficient! Apc clueless

The thing about it is I am sure most Nigerians will not even complain about the cost of electricity so far it is actually stable.

Arise O' Sleeping Youth of Nigeria!!!

Awolowo was (37), Akintola (36), Ahmadu Bello(36), Effiong (36), Balewa (34) and Okotie-Eboh(27), Enahoro (27)
led the struggle for independence after the death of Macaulay. Only Zik was 42 at the time.

In 1966, the first coup was led by: Kaduna Nzeogwu (29) and countered by Murtala Mohammed (28), Theophilus Danjuma (28),Babangida (25), Nanven Garba (23), Sani Abacha(23), Shehu Musa Yaradua (23), and brought into power Gowon (32), Ojukwu (33), Obasanjo (29),Buhari (24).

Most of the military administrators who governed the states under the successive military regimes, most of whom are governors now, were under 30years.
The brief democratic dispensation which interjected the military interregnums also saw the house of Representatives in particular populated by majority of members under 30 years as well as some senators.

Under 30s were also not in short supply with appointments, we have examples of MT Mbu who became foreign affairs minister at 23 and Pat Utomi who became a presidential adviser at 27 and so on and so forth.

NOW:

Why is it that this age bracket is today still sleeping in 3 seater chairs in their parents’ homes?

Why is it that this age bracket is today still collecting pocket money from their parents?

Why is it that this age bracket is today still writing jamb?

Why is it that this age bracket is today still sagging their trousers?

Why is it that this age bracket is today still searching for jobs?

Why is it that this age bracket is today no longer qualified to even be leaders of youth wings of political parties?

Why is it that this age bracket is today so docile?

Why is it that this age bracket is today still incapable of feeding itself?

Why is it that this age bracket is today barred by law from even aspiring to certain political offices?

Why is it that this age bracket is today incapacitated, unwilling, unable and incapable of asking questions?

I am tempted to believe that there is some deceit going on here!

Nigerians should read Osinbajo's lips. He didn't talkabout providing poor suffering subscribers with prepaid metres to prevent crazy estimated bills from PHCN. Is Osinbajo and Buhari unaware of protests against PHCN/DISCOS?

God will bless you and your family.

When the so called youths were calling for Buhari as their messiah I tried to remind them that he was cic at the age of 42. Then the youths who were twenty years were being called the leaders of tomorrow. But unfortunately thirty years on where the then leaders of tomorrow were supposed to take over- some in their fifties- they turned to over seventy years old man. People like Bill Clinton, Obama, David Cameron took oath of office in their forties and led great contries and are still leading our own youths are saying there is no future in them.

What they do is to discuss who is richer between Davido and Wizkid. On their bodies are all sort dangerous animals and numerous symbols that many of them do not know what they stand for. That is our today youths. Give them few naira and ask them to burn down houses, you see them in action.

Imagin some one like Dele Momudu at his age saying it is Buhari or no other. This generation is finished.
