It is sickening watching this comments rolling back and forth.
Do you have genuine questions, really want to know, ask me...I would tell you.

There are many types of people in this world, of course we know that, and we definitely all aren't wishing "forward" in like manner.

If you are getting fun out of this, or just being an antagonist due to pessimistic nature, please, please, and I really mean please, know that you can be ignorantly causing unnecessary tantrum in the dept of Geosciences Unilag.

As for those who think the lecturers threatened us? Do you not think you are blinded by what you wish, rather than TRUTH? Do you really think any of the lecturers would be so adamant to even threaten us? Shouldn't that be more trouble for them? As we would hold the threats as evidence against them. But you know what, no matter what I say here, those who will be against will be against.

As for those who really want to know, who really cares, first of, GOD BLESS YOU. I speak on behalf of the students once again, we have not been threatened, and will not be. We have only come out to stand by the truth.

Many replies concerning new accounts today. I explained earlier. Our image is being wrongly tarnished on nairaland. Most of us, if not all, don't have an account on nairaland. And we have decided as a class, to say NO to this roping against us. And if I may know, what really is the point if we all created the accounts today? Shouldn't you be more interested in what we have to say?.

Lest I forget, I was off for a while. And now I am back online, only to see insults and all flying in. On behalf of those insulted, I sincerely apologise for this. Please do try to understand all these are coming from angered and offended minds. I am sorry for that. I didn't put up this post to turn this thread into an arena, i did this so that all who have been fed the wrong information, the truth be made known to them.

2 sides to the story now;

1.Its either what was posted yesterday was false, so they needed to debunk it by creating accounts so they can rally round to dismiss it or;

2.Or it was true and actually happened, maybe the dept saw it as a dent to their image, so students were probably pressured/threatened to create accounts to debunk the earlier report

But I'm tilting towards the second side. But anyways, whatever happened, you guys are back safely, there shouldn't have been much fuss about it cos its all part of excursions

This post is specially dedicated to non unilag students asking y we all joined this site today well well i guess we have better more important things to do than"nairaland" we dont care if you believe our story or not because it has clearly shown that these comments are from people that are clearly enemies of progress and people that are looking to see the downfall of unilag. So we dont care about the post you believe. Y we are here is to stand up for ourselves and our depaetment not allowing a bunch of jobless bloggers or nairalanders to tanish our image. The moment we are done, we have better things than " nairaland" to do

We are matured people and we need to implement discretion in whatever we do,not trying to make a joke/fun out of something serious. Lets be logical and try putting yourself in our shoes .I have learnt a lot from the fieldwork and accepted that fate as made the bus what it was at that moment. I am geoscience student of unilag and this is the true story

sTudents has always being liars since 1905 though some now go into robbery while some do kidnapping all to have money to give girl friends and indulge in alcoholism .
So that some cook up that story was no surprise its fun .

It's easy to coerce students especially if the field work is a course of 4 or 6 units. You simply threaten everyone with a D and the result is the choir we are reading above.

The version of the incident as said by the blogger are just pretty lies,its obvious the person wants to get public attention .You are entitled to believe whatever you want to.Am a geoscience student of the University of Lagos and I witnessed what happened and I say to you all reading this that what we(geoscience students) say is nothing but the absolute truth!.....God bless Geoscience lecturers,God bless Unilag and God bless You!!
