Whether it's Shell company or Chevron's, it's wrong to use only civilians to guard a premises where some military weapons are kept. Even those banks you talk of have mobile policemen attached to them both day and night.

Why should a civilian be guarding a military post that has such weapons, where were the soldiers? This is not a good report at a time such as this when security should be taken very seriously. Those in charge should be investigated.

Just like that. They walked up to the post. took a whole GPMG and drove away without a shot fired....well they fired a shot. But c'mon who's disarming who. Who needs amnesty, retraining and reintegration, the militants or the military.

This story is not complete. The writer or witness/source didn't say anything about the presence of a single army in this story. Now my question is how come the military men left the ammunitions at their duty post?.... I think the questioning should start from the military men that were suppose to be on guard. I have never seen a military man ( not even police men) leave their bullet at their duty post before, for every one of them account for their ammunitions assigned to them. The thing is not unless they were there, then abandoned thier guns for safety when the heat is too much on them, they all should be arrested for negligence and conspiracy with the unknown gun men.

It was never mentioned that they were Niger Delta militant btw Niger-delta militant don't kill innocent soul, probably sometimes the military if they attempt stopping them. Am not justifying them but don't compare them to bokoharam
