Hello mamas in d house, pls has anyone use vitex? What is ur experience? I started it some wks back and af is expected on 10th or 11th,but I hav been spottin few days earlier and it has stopped,did pt dis mornin it was neg. Kindly share ur experience with vitex.tks

Need to change my gynea...can anyone recommend a good and experienced one in Ikeja area? thanks

I got this from a friend and thought I should share to encourage us all

Once upon a time, a dog approached an elephant to get into a child bearing competition.

In 3 months the dog gave birth to 6 puppies.
In the next 3 months the dog gave birth to yet another set of puppies.

The elephant finally gave birth after 20 months by which time the dog had given birth to over 30 puppies and was mocking the elephant into believing that it had won the competition.

The elephant had a few words for the dog when the baby elephant came out after 20 months.

"I can see you had fooled yourself into believing that you had won the competition.
I think you can appreciate now that:

1. I dont give birth to puppies

2. When I do give birth, the calf will be ready to face the world on its own

3. The combined weight of your 36 puppies is less than a fifth of my calf's weight

4. The moment my calf steps into this earth it makes an immediate great impact as if no dog was ever born"Woow.
I thought that was amazing.

I have observed something under the sun. The fastest runner doesnt always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesnt always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry and the skillful are not neccessarily wealthy. And those that are educated dont always lead successful lives. It is all decided by being in the right place at the right time.'

Dont let any early leaders in this life chide you into believing that you are a failure, beaten flat out and you have already lost the battle of success.

You are not that small to give birth to puppies. Only your one achievement will surpass several combined achievements.

You are guaranteed to make it in this life. Maintain your faith in God even when it looks like its all over for you.

Looks are deceiving but the word remains forever.

@iomoge here is our experience with gangaria. I started vitex 400mg twice daily on cd1 to regulate hormone, cus last cycle I ended up having 35mm and 42mm cyst, so my reason for going natural this cycle.

Dh brought it home last week friday which he started taking 5cover of the bottle mix with 1/2 tin of peak milk for 3days as I posted earlier, I couldn't join him not until I got the lime on Sunday.

I went for HSG test on Thursday, painless but with little discomfort. To the Glory of God both tube are patent, but was told there was minor pelvic adhesion (my God is bigger).
On Wednesday cd6(a day before hsg) I went for follicle tracking and 17mm,8.9mm follicles were seen on the right ovary,22mm, 23mm on left ovary. In my mind I was thinking the only viable follicle will be the 8.9mm every other ones must be cyst.

On Saturday cd9 went for another follicle tracking and17mm,17mm were seen on right ovary and 23mm,22mm,13mm,12mm on the left. The man doing the test asked me madam have you been taking any fertility medicine like clomid; I said no that I am only taking vitex, vit e and folic acid.

On Sunday cd10 in the night i took my 1st dosage of gangaria with lime, then again on Monday morning and night, I'm suppose to go for follicle tracking on Monday cd11,couldn't go cus I was busy

All for me to go in on Tuesday cd12 and was told all follicle has been released, As in no one was sighted including the cyst has disappeared, I couldn't believe it I told the man to give me 45mins to allow my bladder to fill up well maybe the urine is not enough that's why he's not seen anything....I went in again after 1hr nothing was seen. Then I started panicking
1-hubby traveled since Friday he came back on Monday which we dtd on Tuesday morning, and I don't even know when the eggs released, had it been I went on Monday would have known.
2-the fear of the follicle been forced to released prematurely due to the size of the follicle from the last scan. The last scan was on Saturday, I took the gangaria from Sunday night and Monday morning and night then stop as opposed to 1 week duration cus of impending ovulation.

Both I and dh did not purge during the consumption of gangaria, it's been the normal way as before.
But dh has been saying it's like something is loosing from his waist and spinal cord since he started taking.

I still believe the disappearance of the cyst is nothing but a Miracle from 35mm×42mm to 23mm×22mm then to Zero mm.

Maybe because I am taking it with lime i have never had the throat burning sensation experience, that your 1/2 a cup dosage ....it too much ooo.its 4teaspoon or 1shot, shot is that very small glass cup.

I take it only at night so I take the half cup to cover two doses.
Although the half cup is when mixed with 2 lime o.
But I sure would reduce n measure.

I have be having sensation on my right ovary.
On d left I used to feel nothing and was even told my left ovary is dormant.
Surprisingly yesterday I felt a sharp pain on d 2 ovaries. Though it was more on d right and am not tracking anything.
Cd24 and am still on Bcp.
Let me finish 2 bottles of d gangaria and see.
Will make DH start with milk tomorrow cos h even mentioned that lime kills spam in male.

hi dear me self get dat boil o but on d upper part in o....I am cleared on infection so was wondering wats up' have only taking one pill of dat guifeiboa as well and have complained as well dat nothing really came out, as for d boil I just continued rubbing ori.... Shea butter .....am really scare to take any biotics for now cause am I'm my 2 wks wait. And keeping my fingers crossed like I subconsciously do every month. Baby dust dear.

It didn't work for me. I couldn't pick my ovulation period with it and i hv a friend here who complained the same thing. I am now using Clearblue OPK., I don't know if it worked for other E-sisters.

You haven't actually missed your period yet, so wait a few more days and retest or do Bpt.
Although vitex has been known to disrupt some people's cycles.

I was discharged today after a successful myomectomy surgery
I thank God for d speedy recovery I have and I know even though this TTC journey has been rough,it will SURELY end in praise
The God dat is beautiful for all our different situations of surgeries, gangaria,ovarian cysts,vitex,ijaw massage,gufeibao,serrapeptase,blocked tubes,pids, low sperm count,failed ivf....... i mean all dat we go thru,drink and doctors report will end someday as we will all testify
