Its faster than even most digital cameras...

if you are just going to buy a gionee with no after sales service i would advice you to go threads of elijhadre, jeffy, and initialize the are many android lollipop device with 5.5 inches screen less than 40k with accessories and some after sales service through them. i.e Lenovo k3 note, ElePhone p6000 pro, ulephone paris, umi hammer s and umi fair with finger print sensor, all for 40k or under.

Buy Brand New Lenovo K3 note @ #40,000 or Meizu M2 Note @ #39,000 and wonder how quality can cost less.

I was being honest about the Gionee Elife 7.... The phone is outdated.

You can still suggest better phones to the buyer but not that phone cos I had a customer who dropped it for Jiayu G4S and that was in April 2014.


Note that I didn't say he/she shouldn't patronize you. I only advised against buying the particular phone you suggested.


Don't let me start on my I stopped selling Gionee Phones. I really don't like to blow my trumpet but the after sale support I provide to my customers is far better than what Gionee offers

and who told you that gionee has customer servies too, all phones whether it has customer service or not can be repaird here in nigeria and if not it can be fixed by the marketer you bought it from, espacially those chinese phones bought from online stores and marketers on nairaland so know what you say. and i have not heard of you being a marketer on nairaland or your threads. so dont bulls**t people you dont know.

op if am to have my say i would suggest u get d lumia d 730 is awesome no doubt ..has a good after sales service unlike tecno with their annoying carlcare..better software support in form of updates,and also better quality than the tecno, but and its a big but windows phone lacks in the app department,it has d major apps u need but some apps aint available so can u mention the apps u cant live without and awl check if its in d windows store.aside that,d lumia is d better choice enuff said

Pls the Gionee E7 is far from outdated. you call a 3gb ram phone using snapdragon 801 processor outdated. At 2.5 GHz its clocked faster than some contemporary flagships. The phone was actually ahead of its time and was actually one of the first phones to pack 3gb. its camera front and rear are first class. I have pitted its rear 16MP against the 20MP of the Sony z2 and it came out tops. It is the smoothest and fastest phone I have used even smoother than my BB passport and my lumia 1520. The only downside IS the average battery life.

second it is not refurbished at least not those on konga. Gionee did a price slash earlier in the year to 180 USD which is normal just like the BB Q10 and Q5, Nokia Lumia 1520, 1020 etc. I will recommend the E7 above these other devices even though it is stuck at kitkat which for me is no deal breaker.

Barely 8mnths someone bought the device for 70k

It has issues with update

Kitkat jst came out last mnth

Idt there is lollipop yet


Im not really a fan of gionee though


Ps.that snapdragon chip heats!!!

My point is no android phone can be future proof unless maybe the android one phones that get auto updates from Google. marshmallow is here yes and so will the next in maybe six months. Will the release of the next version make all lollipop devices obsolete? The E7 has received kitkat update and frankly I am OK with that as I find no major advantages of lollipop over kitkat or even jellybean.

So from both a hardware and software perspective the phone is still relevant even when compared with the current flagships by Samsung, HTC etc. When you consider this at its current price and some cool accessories like magnetic clip on stand for watching videos and car dash use it is a steal.
