Even when it was boldly written that the scarcity was caused by a body of petroleum marketers, some asswipes still find it compulsive to blame Buhari, APC and Aregbesola ,

That is not constructive criticism, Its stewpydity

Walahi, those wailers are evil, wicked and with heads full of sands. Government is planning a downward review of pump price, some useless marketers are protesting against that, still the wailers won't commend the government neither heep blames on the marketers. I'm sure most wailers would be the first to buy petrol @ N60/ltr. They complain and still they enjoy the goodies of the government. Just why and how are we stucked with this evil wailing opposition

...stewpidity of the highest priority. The wailers condition don pass divine intervention. Imagine, they will buy petrol at reduced pump price, they will enjoy in the goodies of the government, their families will enjoy in the goodies....still they blame Buhari and everything he stands for! Isn't that madness

For those wailers that buy petrol at reduced pump price and still heep blames and curses on the government, na thunder go strike them flat heads and make them never see good in life.. Haba!angry

Not in osun alone, its aready hapening in lagos. Better fill your tank if you happen to see where they are selling. I was telling relatives and friends last two weeks about the looming scarcity. No fuel in depots...NIPCO IBAFON, AITEO, Coconut, Folawiyo etc and no vessel on sea.

The cause is what I describe as SABOTAGE many in the oil business/sector are not happy not only marketers

Many marketers are afraid of what Buharri led government could do. You buy @ 77.66 naira per litre and with all d bills and transport it could be 79 or 80 naira per litre from depot and government just decide that pms should sell @ 40 per litre who wan make loss abeg undecided
Are you saying marketers like TOTAL are selling at a loss?

What I'm saying is this; you culd have 3 truck in your filling station, that's like 100,000 litres and Buhari just announce that everybody should sell @ 40 naira per litre what would such marketer do? Should he sell @ 40 naira per litre making 50% loss? A full truck cost around 2.7 or 2.8 million naira, now do the maths

I heard there wud scarcity since last week, so I jejejly buy fuel keep ....now we nor send if dem look fuel stations for long

But the way, the reason for the scarcity is laughable. Downward review of price, is dat not a good reason but d review, time wud be given to exhaust the old stock.

I know if it was to increase the price sharply dem go don jack am up

vivianblog3:
An acute fuel scarcity has hit Osun, crippling business activities in the state Like Okada Riders and Motorists in the past few days.
Attendants at some filling stations in Osogbo blamed the scarcity on what they described as a subtle protest by petroleum marketers, who were anticipating a downward review of the pump price of fuel.

A source familiar with the development said that Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) in Osun had since directed its members to stop lifting fuel.
NAN reports that virtually all filling stations along Gbongan-Osogbo Road, including the NNPC Mega Station had stopped selling fuel since Oct. 6.

At the ancient city of Ile-Ife, long queues could be seen at various communities, while filling stations along Ede road were under lock and key.

Only one filling station was selling fuel at Ikirun but the station closed shop early on Saturday.
Long queues were also seen at Ilesa, Oke-Ogbo and Ijebu-Ijesa Road.

I didn't read people's comment but, I understand something is wrong with Nairaland mod's head, especially politics section. They are dindinrin, oponu, werey, amukunmeko. Maybe Aregbesola is the one that caused it, Mofos. Those stupi d moderators will make sure every anti Aregbe post make firstpage when Aregbe was oweing 6 month but, never do something to Wada (Kogi state) who was oweing 13 months then and 19 months now. Continue to promote everything against Aregbe who is now oweing 2 to 3 months because he didn't settle you guys.
