for those who can't watch, the basic idea is this, objects boiling points are not only affected by their temperatures, but by their pressure. unlike temperature however, reducing pressure actually causes the liquid to boil faster. another phenomenon is that by reducing pressure, temperature can be made to reduce! so, you can actually refrigerate water by boiling it if you reduce the pressure around it.

in the video, solid nitrogen is made from liquid nitrogen at -210 Celsius by reducing the pressure of it.

Ask anybody in FUTA (past or present) and they will tell you PHY102, PHY103, PHY101 is the most boring and senseless course. .

BUNCH OF LAZY, PATHETIC, BORING LECTURERS/PROFS.

Those are INTRODUCTORY PHYSICS COURSES O!!

wow that was intense. . .The prof was so into what he does that you can see his passion and commitment oozing out.

Nitrogen is super cold at liquid form and even more in solid form.
