Bros easy na. Which water ways are close to festac , I haven't seen any around that axis. It is only swampy areas I know. Haba
The canal. There's even a bridge connecting 4th avenue to 6th avenue. There's water and it would be the smartest way to get out of Festac (Ojo, Badagry and Apapa). If Nigeria was sensible, the police would have radioed the Navy to ask their patrol boats to look for any flying boats with young man and stop and search, even a helicopter can give aerial tracking... buhhhhh this is. Nigeria. we are. talking about...the easy stuff we cannot get right yet we are shouting and making noise about being some. silly giant of Africa blah blah

Police is your friend. They are not trained to fight robbers.
Re: Bank Robbery In FESTAC Town by Nobody: 10:28am On Oct 13, 2015
If it is to be stopping guys carrying anything that looks like a laptop, the police would spring into action... now they can't stop an armed robbery.

Re: Bank Robbery In FESTAC Town by Nobody: 10:30am On Oct 13, 2015
You are talking logic... Nigerian police don't really care about using their brain. For the Nigerian Police, it is all about salaries, bribes and their ogas embezzling money.

Immediately i saw this thread,I knew the bank robbery was at 4th avenue. Access bank and diamond bank should relocate to where other banks are at 2nd avenue. The canal is an easy access to rob near 4th avenue. Robbers can never rob at 2nd avenue because there's no canal near and there's always heavy traffic at alakija and 2nd gate.

e tire me o, there are naval guys in NIMASA, kirikiri phase 2 very close to mile 2 who can help out in this search you are talking aboout but the problem remains that our security agencies do not collaborate that much, the naval guys will even have to wait to get a command from their bosses in abuja before they can even attempt anything, so sad.

Brilliant reasoning..

The only way a robbery in broad daylight can be successful in a city like Lagos is that the robber escape by water.

The Police does not need to confront the robbers at the bank as the collateral damage would be immense. Let them go, let them board their boat and once they hit the waters, chase them down in faster boats and take them all down and leave their corpses to be fish food.

I remember how an early morning robbery in Port Harcourt was foiled by the Police. The guys had attacked a bullion Van on its way to get money from the CBN. After unsuccessfully trying to breach the Van, they started acting a fool at the scene. The Nigerian Police as they were responding first went to the nearest jetty to the scene and Lo and behold, there was a boat and a driver waiting for them there. The Police first laid the nigga out before proceeding to the scene.

I really hope the Police will again use their brains in this case.

A female bank attendant was raped and a security guard was shot in the leg, a woman and her baby were killed by stray bullets, it's hell over here on lockdown.

I don't think any kind of dynamites would penetrate the security doors of banks. They are highly equipped, if not expertise. But the question is: how come?
Re: Bank Robbery In FESTAC Town by Nobody: 10:40am On Oct 13, 2015

You are very right, my mistake,I can now figure the area well. i never knew that they can have boldness to pass that place especially where naval personnel and other forces are highly concentrated. Kai.Nigeria. we are not secured at all

Re: Bank Robbery In FESTAC Town by Nobody: 10:53am On Oct 13, 2015
Sorry about that.
I'm sure they planned this for days or weeks, sitting in those joints close to the banks and setting up strategies. Too bad.
