I hate it when people misled others with an abysmal claims, I saw Fayemi's screening live and he never said such. He made mention of Akwa Ibom, Kaduna government houses, but that he's encouraged by those structures.

That fact that you bought a new car just like your wealthy neighbor doesn't mean you have to spend the same amount your wealthy neighbor spent.

New Toyota corolla and a new Rolls Royce are both new cars designed to get you from point A to point B regardless the amount spent.


The need to build a new government house for many administrations to come was a good investment for his state and he offered a very sensible and rational reason for his actions.

WTF Op! You didn't watch the screening or you're just been mischievous. Even Akpabio was bemused and mesmerised. Dr. Fayemi only made mention of government houses in other states and specifically Akwa-ibom and Kaduna coupled with the fact that the state didn't have a befitting one as then, just to buttress his point. The "honourable" senators couldn't agree less as they were mostly smiling and nodding like agama lizards. Stop misleading people, please!

I'm surprised at the responses I'm seeing from those people calling Fayemi a brilliant man. Wow its like they have been bewitched. So of all he saw in Akwa Ibom it was only the government house he saw? He didn't see the roads and infrastructures there? Wow! And even beds of not more than 1.5million. And then he made example of kaduna state too. That their govt house is beautiful

bros, if this is true, let us not trivialise a serious matter. i guess he did not see all the other good things in his neigbhouring states. there are no states with good social amenities, only beautiful govt. house. let me emphasis that i am an APC surpporters. our strenght should be the ability to chastise ourselves for correction to allow us build a better society.

it was due to the question he was asked! Not that he didn't do any other thing.

I learnt Fayemi brought massive development projects to Ekiti but the elites didn't like him because he wasn't given the contracts to their companies; he preferred given the contracts to established & well tested construction companies. But how true, I don't know.
