That reminds us of a good friend CP Tunde Sobulo when he was Commander ops admin (operations and administrations), Lagos State Police Command.

Fine and refined US trained police commander. Never runs from armed robbers. When others are running away from direction of armed robbers' gun shots, he leads his men to the direction the gun shots were coming from. Super-gallant police officer. That was one name that send chills down the spins of armed robbers in Lagos.

May his gallant Soul Rest-In-Peace, Amen.

Lord help us oooooo!

May we all live to see the end of 2015 angry

Dis actually reminded me of wen armed robbers came to our compound and someone rushed to d police station very close to our house to alert dem on what was happening and all officers on duty denied been on duty dat day.

Wat a pity! Mother and child on d same day cry and all those useless festac police officers will be dere extorting #100 from commercial bikes and keke napep every evening at first gate.

Please all ma festac neighbors be very careful while hanging out now ooooo! Cos all those people with black mind on black cloth will be raiding innocent peeps ooooo! And if you have to stay out late, move out with ID Cards

May God help us,Lagos is fast becoming a den of criminals,Ambode needs to step up his Game,Governance is not about"swagger" and clubbing..He needs to summon all the area men and discuss with them, that was fashola's strategy coupled with efforts from other security agencies,

pls the robbery did not start by 3am, it started around 8:10am, don't mind the person that said 3am, the woman was shot when an OPCan shoot into the air to scare them, not knowing that they were sophisticated robbers , that was when the robbers started shooting into pples houses, then the woman and her new born baby was hit by a stray bullet inside her house. It was quite painful.

. Had it been you are beside me now, there would have been 'accidental discharge' on your left brain! What do you mean that Nigeria is a failed country? Do you know what it means for a country to be a failed country? Better listen to yourself when you type! My country Nigeria is not a failed country and can never be a failed country! Get that into your brain or go figure! Or better go buy brain.

Someone should radio fatai festac police. When it comes to police work they will run. I was at the Festac post office when this robbery was going on. A lot of ammunition was expended.
I initially thought BH came for attack and I left through 22 road by 31 road, saw a police truck with the occupants lying inside the gutter all without their uniform.

I wouldn't have been so confident driving around with some packets of SK if I knew it was a bank robbery going on.

To cut long story short, Festac police needs total overhaul from the AC to the lowest rank is full of corruption. I hope PMB is reading this now. FESTAC police needs total overhaul.
dats Nigeria police for u. if na innocent motorists or okada man them go carry gun up dey threaten d person.

undecided sigh........ delusions masked in patriotism. So you think all is well in a country in which armed robberies go on for hours and the supposed law enforcers go into hiding and make convenient excuses?. That to you is a functioning state? Someone needs to buy a brain alright. undecided

I don't blame the Nigeria police at all not even for second I only blame our government, why would they employ a primary school certificate holder to be protecting the citizen? If you see some police self with the way they dress I swear you we never want to be a police, secondly how will you expect a police officer to face robbers when they don't even have bullet when the gun they holding is not good, even if the gun is good can a primary school certificate know how to hold a gun? Even if The answer is yes believe me they we sell it one by one, we need educated police officers well train and lastly I don't see any the wrong if the government can provide 3 helicopter to the police per state. I pray God bless my country Nigeria

This is when you know the police lied to us. This sounds like the same gang who robbed banks in Ikorodu months ago. I bet there where someone watchin the news about how innocent ppl were arrested and forced to admit robbing the banks while the sip on wine they bought with the money they carted away. Naija!!!

Exactly, and after then they start arresting innocent festac people who go about trying to make ends meet. Lagos as a whole has become a safe haven for criminals, people lose cash and belongings worth millions on a daily basis on traffic gridlocks ( especially in Mile 2 express, maza maza, Ojo road all the way to badagry), robbers go to people's houses comfortably, bike robbers wait for your in the bank, snatch your money, snatch your cars, steal brain box of cars, you go to relax in a sports bar and your car is stolen, robbers shoot you, you can't walk freely anymore...Its really painful, don't just think these are mere assumptions because I'm a firsthand witness to all these, my friends in surulere, festac, badagry etc, cry of this high level of insecurity everyday. so so painful.
Eko o ni baje o.

Sorry, can hardly live in Lagos..

And no police In any bank can match that sophisticated weapon at that particular moment! And it caught them. Unaware. And besides, that single episode should not make you to tag the whole of Nigeria a failed country! Nigeria is too big for that! And if you do, that means you are clueless!
