There is no evidence that you have fewer quacks among nurses or doctors or even police

as much as am happy with the news i think the council too have to be blame in some areas, if they can be effective on the issuing of yearly work permit or lincence on time things like this wont be happening...imagine i av not collected lincence since 2012 despite the fact that i pay my renewal fees every year all i get is evidence of payment which can be easily forged...

Some or many Drs are busy training quacks and using them in their private hospitals putting many lives at risk because of the profit they'll get from paying the illiterates they use stipend instead of employing qualified nurses, yet they go unchecked and this anomaly continues to grow. They fight against quackery in their profession yet they propagate it in another profession in the name of auxiliaries, I'm not saying it's all Drs but many Drs, but it's not their fault though, NMCN allowed it and the crazy way everything is in Nigeria.
The health sector really needs thorough sterilization.
Btw the 6 months is too small for such criminals.

I heard that's how ' some' Naija docs train their Auxiliary Nurses and they end up without certificates... I pray its not true

The government needs to provide standard and regulate the medical system in the country. What is going on?

Anf such exercise is not difficult, simply make licence to practise renewal yearly with attached clear copies of license certificates, verifiable via the councils database of all registered members..this isn't hard at all.....I get really angry and frustrated how sensitive departments back home operates without a care or sense of responsibility.

Imagine a couple preparing for marriage only to walk into a laboratory and come out two fake genotype tests that says they are both AA, when they are really both AS because a quack Med. Scientist ran the tests. When the couple give birth to sickler children and their quality of life is destroyed forever, how do you restore hope to them?

I learnt the council is trying to introduce a watermark signature/stamp for every Scientist that will be difficult to fake, any result issued out in future may carry the signature, stamp and probably RN number of the scientist that supervised or ran the test, any result that doesn't carry this features will automatically become fake and unacceptable. 6 months prison term is too lenient for him.Like 4-6 years (time it takes to train in an institution of higher learning to be a Lab Scientist )in the gulag will suffice.Just imagine the number of incorrect lab results this donkey must have given his clients.I just imagine me with my AS genotype being told I am AA,then I decide to have babies with an AS.Cheiii,this man deserves more punishment.
