You need to attend more seminars, listen to more public speakers and stop these 'hypes.'

How can a man of 52 years find it difficult to answer simple questions pertaining to his area of specialization, his state & experience? What baffles me is some of you attended universities where some 30-something year old Lecturers tutor you all on difficult subjects.

Please remind me again, what has Fashola said that Senator Ben Bruce can't discuss even better? What has Madam Aminat said that Senator Stella Oduah won't discuss even better? Have your nominees said anything Maupe Ogun of Channels TV won't discuss even better? Who among them can transform this nation better than "Sam Adeyemi", a public speaker if the criteria were to be comportment, statistical and business intelligence?

If you must school anyone, beg your nominees to tutor your PRESIDENT who's apparently clueless of certain and key sectors of the Nigerian business.

I also saw some hypocrites insulting the Northern senator who couldn't speak well in the senate, meanwhile these same set of people were among those who installed Muhammadu Buhari, same man we barely hear whenever he talks.

From your post it is evident that the question seem far beyond your understanding. Read the question again and answer it. Your choice of words is on point but it was utterly disappointing since it didn't address the question from the post. At times, it is best to reserve your comments.

Bobo go n sit down
The same Ben Bruce that could not ask the right question with his over hyped common sense. He was saying what's not even included. I listened to him attempting to ask kachikwu question . Mumu compare to how u just painted him

Now how many people can come forward to defend lies, say the truth, give ideas n answer queries n allegation in public.

Watch fashola again . He was not blaming anybody, he was diplomatic n yet still make sense. In the presence of his enemies he excel n schooled them. If it were that east
Bruce would stood up n throw one thought provoking question that fashola would found off the hook to answer.

I'm amazed at those who can't see through fashola. His eloquence seems to dazzle some people. He is a lawyer and as a good lawyer, obviously his SAN wasn't bought. He dazzled and skillfully evaded the question put before him. What kind of excuse is I don't sign cheques? Do you have to sign cheques to embezzle money? Did GEJ sign Cheques? Did Abacha sign cheques? Did Diazani sign cheques? The question was is it true you spent amounts in excess of the going rate for Websites and boreholes? As the smart lawyer that he is, he evaded the question and bamboozled most of you. if under your watch as a chief executive inflated amounts are spent on procuring items you are either culpable or incompetent. The importance of the question put before him is if under your watch N70m was spent on a website, how do we know you will get value for us as a minister and not approve inflated contracts but sadly we missed an opportunity.

Please dont be dazzled, lagos has money to spend more than any other state but in many areas considering value for money, lagos actually does qquite badly, the quality of roads they build for instance. I was in Ibadan and I was amazed at the quality of the roads built by Ajimobi, same in Abeokuta. If I were a senator I would have asked of fashola; if you are made minister for works can we expect that you will build better roads than the lekki express way which has no foresight by not having flyovers and is already riddled with potholes and all the other roads that keep failing? Secondly considering the hapharzaed nature of development/ lack of town planning, indiscriminate licensing of business premises with total disregard to impact on traffic/town planning in lagos, what makes you the right person for that ministry?

For me Kemi adeosun and Kachikwu were the stars!

Until you replace the insults in your brain with commonsense, I won't overlook your use of insultive words.

If words like "idio.tic" is all you can use to gather likes, then you really need to attend more Fashola's uncommon seminar.

Check my post ysday where I said the Senators are going to be schooled by Fashola today. He was indeed over-syllabus today and the whole of Nigeria was schooled. I don't know about the wailers tho!

Sorry but what was lovely about her accent? It was foreign! The only lovely accents are Nigerian!!
She appeared to lack speaking confidence ,repeatedly fidgeting with her hair and talked too much textbook economics. I am not persuaded. We need real Nigerians who understand Nigeria to manage Ministry of Finance. I don't think she is mature enough to work unsupervised. I also do not believe the Ministry of Finance needs a so called technocrat at its helm. What it needs is a mature politician who understands Nigeria. I do not believe a non politician should hold that portfolio. What is necessary is to improve the quality of civil servants across government and pay them well
Her comments on interest rate were naive. I agree with here comments on Foreign Direct Investment but Nigeria has a lot of better candidates She is not ready for a senior Minister job
I do not think Buhari has put together a great team that was worth waiting for

You obviously didn't listen to star boy well.. Lagos is special, I know cuz I av worked with the state govt before.....
Lagos infrastructure and resources are over-burdened more than any other state in the country, pple arrive into Lagos by busloads and even by plane and by sea, every day...
Secondly geographically, Lagos is quite different from other states. The amount u will use to build roads in ibadan will be entirely different from how much u will use in Lagos simply cuz of the terrain.. I know this cuz these 3 states are states I av worked in...

I assume you are educated and schooled? The purpose of an education is to train the brain to think and analyse, that why sometime companies advertise for graduates in any discipline because they assume if you have undergone a degree programme you have learnt analytical skills.....sadly this is not the case in Nigeria of late.

So I advise you to read again my post but to help you, he was asked why he paid certain sums for certain projects, the inference being that those sums were far above the norm. The implication being that if you are paying well above the norm, you are either not a good custodian of public finances (i.e contractors are cheateing you) or you are in bed with the contactors considering our environment. no one accused him of embezzling, all that was asked was that he explain, He was given a chance to explain and he evaded it.
