Am a fashola fan. I enjoyed watching him today. However, the answer he gave concerning the website and borehole is not justifiable. I understand the fact that he is not knowledgeable in terms of the amount to pay for the website and borehole but there is a ministry in charge of that and am sure that those in that ministry knows that the said amount is ridiculous so who authorised that amount in the ministry of technology and who signed that cheques. They should come and justify why we should pay 78 million for a website.

Madam,

The way you've even asked the question shows you're far from understanding how the basic approval process works. If the issue is 78million naira website, I can tell you that it depends how the contract is structured, which we do not have the details. The question should have been what are the line items that culminated in the said 78million and not who signs the cheques.

when push comes to shove, if the contract is fraudulent, it is Fashola that bears the whole responsibility and not who signs the cheques

I believe signing of cheques can only be done by permanent secretaries

I'm not saying he doesn't have his strengths but he is as corrupt as any corrupt public servant that would face hanging in say a China if he fell out with the powers that be.

We Lagosians are the ones that empower this APC machinery.

Everyone is blaming Ambode for the current crises in Lagos but Fashola was there for 8 years. You see what did he do? Nothing but planting flowers and smoking cigar, blowing the smoke in the faces of the gullible Lagos hustlers that are willing to forgive government when they receive #80 million contracts to design website or when a new garden is planted.

The robbery in Apongbon was always there. Oshodi too. It got better but it has not been sanitized and brought under clinical scientific transformation like how Goodwill did roads in Uyo. I'm tired of the hype on Fashola. I'm a Yoruba man by accident of birth or whatever higher purpose God may have deemed and Fashola is one of the biggest lies Nigerians telling themselves.

I wonder how Ambode is the problem when Buhari is not the problem, yet they have been in office the same amount of time? Did Ambode sell the Governors lodge or numerous properties to Tinubu and others?
