Last week, the young institution graduated 206 students during its 2nd Convocation (with 11 1st class degrees).

When we are talking World Class Facilities and Personnel, no Eastern university comes close to Baze and ABTI who are in a completely different league. In the entire south, only Covenant in the SW can compare.

I've been away and this is a beautiful welcome. This is quite impressive and I'm glad Sen Baba Ahmed (an academic himself) had the courage to make such an investment amidst the mediocrity that is characteristic of the Nigerian educational system.

What does that matter if there are more Imo people applying to ABU Zaria than actual Zaria indigenes? Most of the rural schools in the north (and they are few), are being taught by southern youth corpers, at most people from middle belt. Again, don't use this achievement to chest beat because you will have to swallow your pride eventually. Most Northern Schools are full of southerners, and the primary and secondary level they're even taught by southerners.

You can say what you wish about Madonna, but Anambra is the most educated state in Nigeria, followed by Imo, Delta, Abia then Lagos. A Table Football and shiny seats aren't the solution.
