I subscribed to the MTN #500 for 500mb data plan and experienced the same data wiped problem. I tried using it yesterday, and it is browsing well and fast again.

To check your data balance dial*567*3*3*2*3# or dial the usual code of*567*3*3# for subscription, and select option '2' send and option '3' to check balance.
Using other known data balance code like *559# , *123*9# or other bbm code will show 0mb balance.

Our data was wiped and browsing effectively terminated without warning after few days of subscribing to that plan before they had to wipe it few days afterwards.


They even sent SMS to confirm I've subscribed to a 30 day 500mb plan.


Besides your *567*3*3*2*3# code still showed 0mb.

Yeah, it's working and yes, it's a scam. I subbed for my wife 2 days ago. She only use her phone for whatsapp. Auto sync was off. No Google account connected but surprisingly, only 100mb remaining... Just 2 days... This is worst than airtel. Don't waste your #500 coz if u r a heavy data user, it won't last you a day.

MTN is scaming people, I received the msg, but its like they wiped the data after subscription

Seriously? You think someone that dial a code as long as *567*3*3*2*3# hasn't tried all other necessary codes?

Mine is working but they gave me 500mb and not 1 gb as they claim.

me I don't know what went wrong ooo, but mine is working well and has not been wiped out.

This is not correct, mine still shows 0mb after my 331mb was wiped out unjustly yesterday. I tire for mtn petty stealing o
