42' Huge chance for Man United! Rooney breaks down the right-hand side, with the Englishman cutting back a neat pass due to a narrow angle! Martial meets the ball with a first-time attempt, but a combination of Stones and Howard denies the young France international!

herrera just got lucky today, he cant play against a strong defence, the only defender that is strong in everton is John stones, dem no born him well to play like this against man city with strong defenders, even liverpool sef!

Herrera is just having a good day, he is not a deadly midfielder

40' Martial does well to turn away from Stones, with the Monaco forward able to make occasional dangerous forays forward. Naismith goes on a mazy dribble forward, with Lukaku being picked out well. The Belgian keeps play moving out to the right flank, but an eventual cross from out wide is cut out. Everton's spell of pressure ends with Jagielka curling a 20-yard effort hopelessly wide.
Monaco forward ? You high bro?

44' Darmian whips a cross in from the right- hand side, but his delivery is cut out simply. Man United are happy to put their foot on the ball and slow down play for the dying minutes on Merseyside. Everton need to go back to the drawing board if they want to take any spoils from this contest.

45' Good save from De Gea! Barkley tries his luck from a narrow angle on the left flank, with the Spaniard able to palm a smart save away from the danger zone! That's the closest that the hosts have gone.

28' Galloway and Naismith combine down the
left, but a flick from Barkley is easily
intercepted. Everton just aren't getting a
foothold in the midfield battle, with Martinez
perhaps needing to think about re-setting his
stall for the second half. Jones is forced to
remove himself from the field, with the
Englishman picking up a rather fierce
nosebleed.
mind considering a career in sports commentary?

HALF TIME! The visitors have a comfortable 2-0 lead at the interval, with goals from Schneiderlin and Herrera putting Man United in a solid position. The Toffees just haven't been at the races, with two quick-fire goals leaving Martinez's men with a lot to do after the restart.

A midfielder that either gives assist or scores in any match he plays is a deadly midfielder. Go and sleep

Since Buhari came to power, NEPA always takes off power by half time sad I was already enjoying the math o.

Why is Martial on the wing? He's not effective there. You simply play Young if Depay isn't playing!

Re: Everton Vs Manchester United (0 - 3) On 17th October 2015 by smsshola(m): 4:04pm On Oct 17, 2015
46' We are underway in the second half! The hosts have it all to do if they are to take any spoils from this afternoon's clash, as Everton need to score at least two goals in the next 45 minutes at Goodison.
Re: Everton Vs Manchester United (0 - 3) On 17th October 2015 by smsshola(m): 4:06pm On Oct 17, 2015
47' Mata is replaced by Lingard at the break, with Kone coming into the game for Naismith too. Both coaches have shuffled their pack slightly, with the Toffees needing to make serious improvement. Barkley whips in a free- kick delivery from the right, but Lukaku fires wide of the back post due to pressure from Smalling.

51' Lukaku and Kone play a neat one-two on the edge of the penalty area, but a shot from the latter is blocked well by Jones! Everton keep the pressure on, with Coleman setting a cross up to the back post, but Lingard denies Barkley with a good recovering interception!
Re: Everton Vs Manchester United (0 - 3) On 17th October 2015 by smsshola(m): 4:11pm On Oct 17, 2015
53' Lukaku goes down on the edge of the penalty area, with Rojo picking up a yellow card for a cynical bodycheck on the Belgium international. A few bookings might just unsettle the away outfit. Barkley lines up the free kick, but Martial is able to head away as first man.

55' Rojo stands up well to deny Lukaku, with the former Chelsea forward currently unable to evade the intentions of Smalling. The England international is having an excellent game at the heart of the Red Devils' defence. Barkley whips a free-kick delivery in from the right yet again, but it is headed away easily. Moments later, Lukaku sees a close-range shot courageously blocked on the line!
