We know about the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) and Mr Nigeria, now we have the Mother Daughter Pageant Nigeria (MDPN).

The Mother Daughter Pageant Nigeria is a Silverbird Productions initiative.
According to the organizers, “The concept was birthed to become a platform to reckon with in family entertainment whilst promoting and strengthening family bonds.

Being the first of its kind in West Africa, It is aimed at celebrating the Love and Bond shared between Mother and Child and giving Nigerian mothers and young daughters an opportunity to celebrate their womanhood.”

The winner is determined by the audience which also includes the online audience. Online voting for the pageant was on and folks voted at www.motherdaughterpageant.com/vote

The winning mother and daughter team gets 2 Million Naira and a trip to Dubai.

The grand finale held yesterday October 17th by 6pm at the prestigious Calabar International Conference Centre (CICC). It was televised live on Silverbird Television.

One thing i love about this pageant is the fact that it didnt promote nudity. Its a lovely concept by the silverbird group

I realized dat too

Met some of the contestants at Tinapa three nights ago. All the same it's a thumbs down for me. Kids had better be gainfully engaged instead of all these distractions and frivolities.

This is encouraging

All those judges that sleeps with contestants to give them title, let me see how you are going to take both mother and daughter
