u must be decieved if u think the pdp knew what it was doing, they didnt want to ask questions just to create the impression he wasnt accepted by them, but they cried when apc also had no question ask him to bow and go. They couldnt help but query apc to ask question. So whats the aim of pretending. Who cares if its on record pdp dont like ameachi. Even jesus was hated by jews. It remains for saraki to do the lai fluke
PDP simple said if you ask Amaechi to bow and go then you will also tell all the remaining nominees to bow and go. what don't you understand there?

On Tuesday, unless the Senate has delivered its verdict on Amaechi, by 5pm, Amaechi would have been deemed to have been confirmed, as 21 working days would have passed, as is in the constitution.
FreeGlobe:
why are you foaming in the mouth you this illiterate. Last I checked, Amaechi has not been confirmed. As far as I'm concerned the Pdp just took its best decision since democracy. it would be on record that Pdp boycotted Amaechi's nomination because of corruption. don't go and hide your head in shame

Aside your bad English isn't it foolhardy for the PDP who were never known to screen anybody during their 16 year tenure to start talking about proper screening?
What kind of nonsense hypocrisy does the PDP shamelessly display?

They were elected to do a job and part of it was to screen ministerial nominees. They should have exposed him to the world by asking him questions bordering on his corruption allegations, instead they chickened out because they also have skeleton in their own cupboard. Is it akpabio, t. a. orji, David mark and the likes that is qualified to ask Amaechi questions on corruption?

How will you ask someone questions without opening a committee report by the senate on the same person. Are you now saying the report from the committee is useless

No but PDP senator should have used it to their advantage. Not questioning him was just foolish in my opinion. Obanikoro was told to take a bow and go by PDP Senator despite the Ekitigate allegation raised by APC senators, at least the APC senator spoke out at the floor of the Senate.

apples and oranges.. There was no senate committee report on ekitigate. Assuming pdp joined the screening, it would have rendered the report useless and I can tell you authoritatively that Amaechi was indicted in that report. PDP's boycott will force the senate to treat that report. Strategic move from pdp

If you say so, let's see how the confirmation goes tomorrow.

Treat the report by the time he's already confirmed and sworn in? As far as APC is the majority in that Senate, the Nays would never have it when it comes to APC affairs. When it's time for confirmation, no matter the sound of Nays from the PDP Senators, the APC Ayes would have it. So Senator Anyanwu can go shove that report where the sun does not shine!

OP screening is different from confirmation and if he is confirmed without clearing the allegation against him, I will never again believe in PMB's fight against corruption.
Have you ever believed in PMB before?

Better start not believing him from now because the lion of Africa will be cleared.

Free that FreeCunt of a girl. The PDP has no moral standing to back out from questioning Amaechi based on one ill motivated petition. Everyone knows a script written by Nyesom Wicked and Secondus can never see the light of the day in that senate. Is it Akpabio that is facing cases of corruption with the EFCC that will boycott a screening process for corruption allegation reasons? Let him resign his position and clear his name if he wants to be taken seriously on this.

Meanwhile, I feel their pains. This is Amaechi's second victory over his enemies after Mar 28th. I have been in PH for the past 3 days and all I see here are pockets of gloomy faces of "PAINMENT" all around me.
