they send both hard copy by post and soft copy by mail attachment. If applying online then no need for the hard copy. Don't know if photocopies can be used for paper submission.
paper uses photocopies now. There's no reason to wait for original copy anylonger. Moreover printing a softcopy document in color is 'original' in its term

Depends on the school you are applying to since you are already in the final stages.

Brilliant comment!

...Note to TRV hopefuls, if something is worth doing then it's worth your time and dedication. When you're advised to go through the previous pages of this thread, it's not like one wants to punish and make others suffer. If you're a prospective student, then searching and researching for information should be a part of you. No one wants to throw money away paying application and biometric fees only to be rejected or delayed because of a shoddy application. If time is not on your side, then let it go, target next admission session and put forward a quality and credible application before fasting and praying.

I think photocopies can be used for paper applications since VFS don't take originals for paper submission again. Originals are only submitted for bank statements. Guess you can use colored printed copy of admission letter.

Go through the previous pages especially part 8, you'll find details of the procedure for upfront medicals. Team12 simplified it so well, you won't miss anything.

Note to TRV hopefuls, if something is worth doing then it's worth your time and dedication. When you're advised to go through the previous pages of this thread, it's not like one wants to punish and make others suffer. .......

You are right! I started following this thread in May. I read through for months and just applied for my visa early this month. Even now, I still go through old threads once in a while just to get tips on how to study and survive in Canada.

***Edited
For the new guys, a very easy way to search this thread for info, lets say on "biometrics". Just type "biometrics travelling to canada nairaland" in google.
Thanks to thesoj for this trick.

Also go through the posts of the following Tnuola, team12, hayqinsbFX, thesoj . These are the elders in this thread. They have given out so much info here.

Cheers

Meanwhile.., I appreciate the contribution if all on this platform.. One thing is that though many are already on their Visa processing, someone like me could kindly be helped as I seek Schools with high admission tendency to apply to, Knowing fully well that the cost of admission application is very expensive and one has to put ones mouth where ones money is, there's never a painful thing as getting a negative admission decision after paying and waiting for months...

On this note, after applying to UWO, I will like the good minds here to suggest school with high admission tendencies that I can further apply for a M.Eng in Elect/Elect with a CGPA of 3.9/5.0.

God bless as I expect a favourable reply..

I notice that your admission was for a Computer Systems Technician – Networking Diploma program.

Unfortunately, a Diploma is wayyy lower than the BSc you already have therefore most VOs would tick a "Purpose of Visit" denial reason nine out of ten times. I see that you applied for the Fast Track option of the course, but this doesn't change much. A Diploma is lower than an Advanced Diploma which is lower than a BSc. This would infer to the VO that your primary intent is to immigrate to Canada and possibly not to even study when you get there (at least this is what most "Purpose of Visit" GCMS notes state).

Your agent really messed up by not advising you on the proper program level to apply to.

I suggest under the proof of financial section. You should add your sponsor's own too.
Also include a list itemizing all the documents uploaded in the correct order.

Yes PP request is next...And abt ur 2nd question, u want to know if she can still be delayed? Yes bt probability of delay after medical passed is 0.3

Hmmm... my brother, with the testimonies of people like us, and the nonsense CIC is doing this days, the probability of delay after medical passed is 50%. You've just got to keep trusting God until you get your passport back and you see the TRV starring at you the same way you're starring at it. We've had cases of delay after passport request sef, and @thesoj also talked about someone who was delayed after approval mail was received, but the last two cases are very rare and can be put at 0.3, but that of delay after medical passed is as normal as delay before medical call.

God help and favour us all.

I wouldn't be so quick to be overly optimistic though.
Politicians talk a big game all the time... they mostly and firstly care about votes and power. I'm guessing they'll only implement one-third of the items on that list. But even if they planned to implement the whole list, the opposition parties are looking forward to being a big thorn in their side. Politics in some western countries is also very obstructionist.
youre right.
Lets be optimistic tho.

Those cases are out of the norm...Once in a while kinda and seem to occur during rush periods..Its not a 50 percent..

Team12's posts will do justice to your questions. I followed her posts closely cos we both have toddlers we need to travel with. I patterned my application like hers, upront medicals, budget breakdowns to include kid and leaving hubby behind to join later. I got my TRV in 12work days of applying. Go read up...good luck!
