Niger state is called the power state so you'll enjoy lots of light

Am serving there presently
So accommodation is ok
Water is also ok but it depends on the area you're posted cos they have 25 local govt in Niger state
So it's the biggest state in Nigeria

You can spend up to 8hours traveling within the state

Anyway am enjoying myself

Am a batch A corper presently serving under ministry of youth development, minna. Halla me in case you encounter any problem.

Niger state don't pay anymore

They were paying 6k before for those teaching in school and 14k for those in hospital

So please remove your mind from state allowance

Cos you'll be heartbroken

Life in Niger is very interesting and I can tell you its a place to experience something new.

Transportation is cheap and there's no traffic like that of Lagos here.

Talking about accommodation, I got mine for 18k/year here in Paiko. Some got theirs 1k/month. In other parts like Minna and Suleja, accommodation is more expensive. Minna is one of the major cities in the state while Suleja is close to Abuja.

You guys should not expect uninterrupted power supply, NG state being power state doesn't mean you'll get 12hours supply everyday.

I bet you'll all enjoy the state one way or the other and hope to share drinks with you at mammy market next week!
