So so disappointed that an educating thread like nairaland is losing its value because of kids. Go to romance section,religion,career and you'll find them. @op: Here is my word for you. What is your purpose? What do you feel you are called to do? Where would you love to see yourself in 5 years? Business is good but what business can you be proud of? What business can you put your entire heart and see it become successful? Discovering your purpose and fulfilling it solves a lot of problem. It doesn't just help you but help others. There are so many business one can carryout but it will favour you if you do what you love. If you do what you love, you won't give up even though the money doesn't come immediately. Follow your passion. Enter a business you won't feel ashamed to discuss with people about. Port Harcourt is a good city and for almost 20-30 years that's where I reside. Follow your passion, go for purpose and you will succeed. Any business you do defines you; so find out the business that align with who you are and your personality. Hope for you.

Become a certified dangote cement distributor, I think right now factory price is 900naira per bag and a truch is about 600bags of cement,all u need do is to rent a ware house and get a sales boy.if u are not greedy u can sell at 1k1 per bag just so as to move market,as soon as you are able to aquire reasonable number of customers you can now start selling at a higher price.you should know that in every business u need to monitor it fully and most of all pray very well. U need to sometimes visit siites and even offer them discounts on ur cement if they can buy resonable amounts of cement from you.you have to be patient and pray too.the good thing is that the risk involved in this kind of business Is low.with time u can buy a truck and charge extra 50bucks per bag for delivery.meanwhile u will need to register a company name from CAC.

He is starting a business from scratch, which means he won't have any other source of income. I think, that okada business is a very nice idea but will only suit people with alternative source of income to keep body and soul together while waiting for the 10 months to elapse

NO... insecurity in the North East is exaggerated by the Nigerian media.. I'm typing from mubi, Adamawa state. And I can tell you that North East is relatively peaceful. The only place i won't advice anybody to go is maiduguri... As an igbo boy, business is moving fine

You could venture into poultry business, its profitable. Jst learn the techniques involved and ur good to go.
