The business jet with the registration number 5N-DIA which is currently being use by the Nigeria customs service Boss Hameed Ali, actually belongs to the Nigeria customs service. The aircraft was acquired by the Federal government of Nigeria for the NCS during the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Johnathan. The jet was commissioned and handed over to the Nigeria customs service by the then Nigeria's finance minister Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala at a handing over ceremony which took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja in September 2012.
