The question is, why are some kind of miracles performed in bible not possible to be performed today or better still, why are some men call themselves men of God but they have never performed one miracle in their life before? yet they have hundred of thousand followers?

the Scripture says when two or three are gathered together in his name, he there in their midst.
this shows that praying in group is more effective than praying individually. That's why you see Christians gathering in churches

Also, people go to church mostly bevause they want to be encouraged in the Christian race in order to make heaven

he is in the midst of two or three when they gather does not mean that he is nowhere else at the same magnitude he is in the midst of the gathering.
Remember, God is everywhere.
you can't hide from him by not gathering..
You can worship anywhere.
