I made a 2.1 but u can have a first class or 2.1 in school and be a first class poor man after school. Reason well. Most people that will employ you don't have a 1st class or 2.1, you will 1day need the help of a 2.2 or 3rd class graduate.

Don't forger iam referring to B15. and if u ppl r fllwng the NYSC you will know that first class corpers will serve at Tertiary institutions. (..hmm sbd telling me he has friend from unilag serving at.bla bla bla).
2:1 corpers can also serve in some situations at tertiary institutions.
If as a first class student I knw definately that am to serve in tertiary institutions and plan ahead and even called my possible colleagues for us to advise our self is a problem, no wonder I observed a lot of hatred comments in the political posting and Biafra thing.

I finally observed that many nairalanders are third class and have spilled over.

MANY PEOPLE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE.

leave d dude alone. Nysc is full of surprises. My roommate in uni made a first class nd was d second best in his faculty but behold he was taken to a remote school in anambra. September wen we spoke, he said d last time he saw nepa light was march. Thank God we jst did our Pop last thursday.

Sum 2:1, 2:2 or even third class graduates will knw sum camp officials personally and dm go get juicy PPA!

And a word of advice 2 u s dt, dnt b too confident in life and dnt say ur 1st class is a sure bet 4 a successful lifestyle and career!

Just passed out.. Op nysc will do you the more you look the less you see you keep believing all read I tell you tertiary institutions don't give a Bleep about corps member even though you graduate with 5.0. There are many first class our there. When you get to camp you will see a pass graduate lobbying to be posted to those institutions and they and their quota. The instructions will even apply for the number of corps member. So if you don't lobby your chances are slim. And besides it is mostly those northern institutions that seek for corps members. If I were you I will be thinking on how to impact to the community where I serve. Or learn vocational skills that will make you enjoyable. Being a first class does not mean you are employable. Less I forget also just because you choose the states you want to serve means you will be posted there. Na Nigeria we dy nothing works

It's not 2:1....it's 2¹... And luckily for me I was able to graduate with 2¹ from a prestigious university but I don't see the need for this thread, @op. This can bring about discrimination, even worst, graduating with a high grade is not a guarantee for anything in life, you will have to work more on yourself, on skill acquisition but more importantly on your Ego.
