My own advice for all those coming to isseluku from all over the country. You can take a bus going to Benin or asaba whichever is closer from your departure state or whichever you find. When you get to Benin or asaba or in the vehicle, tell the driver you are going to isseluku, they will direct you to the park where you can get a vehicle going to isseluku or they would tell you if they would pass isseluku. From there take a vehicle to isseluku, they know where to drop you. From the junction, it is 200 to camp. If you are coming from Lagos, take a bus going to asaba, isseluku is before asaba so they will drop you there. Even some vehicles going to Onitsha pass through Isseluku depending on whichever you see.

So your route could be : Abeokuta to Benin to isseluku to camp
Or Jos to Benin/asaba to isseluku to camp.

Welcome to Delta. Lagos to Issele Uku is more than 5hrs.
For those who aren't scared of river, ocean and co. You should pray to be posted to Burutu LGA, preferably communities like Ogulagha, Obotebe, etc. Other communities there are good too.
However, you'll be threatened in camp about the place. In fact, people will start pitying you when u get posted there, but the LGA is nice. They generally provide accomodation, and many are very nice apartments. Many communities there pay corps members community allowance with Ogulagha being the highest paying (from the information at my disposal), they pay close to the federal allowance amount. The LGA also pay. I believe they are the only LGA paying corps members in the entire Delta state.

Just board a bus going to Asaba and tell the driver you'll stop at Issele Uku junction. From the junction, take a bike to NYSC camp, normally shouldn't be more than 100, but once they see you are going to camp, they'll call exorbitant prices for you.

There are buses that go to isseluku, like muyi line or enter any bus going to asaba. They will drop you at isseluku.

no he wont get it that way because buses from warri to asaba(transporters) normally take ughelli-kwale-asaba road and in that route you can access isele-uku, the best option from my point of view is this from warri enter uduaghan bus(delta city bus) going to agbor it cost around#400, from agbor you will see asaba buses, join one and tell the driver to stop you at isele-uku, at the junction leading to nysc camp, from the junction you can now board a bike straight to camp itself
