This is not an avenue to be happy, wailers, but rather it is an avenue for the govt to work when people like this criticised them.
That I support APC till tomorrow doesn't mean that there are some things that I want in place now that has not been there. If we don't complain at times, they might think we are ok like this.
Bless you

In 2011, the SW abandoned their own ACN candidate and they also abandoned their own son Tunde Bakare who was Buhari's VP and they voted massively for Jonathan. I guess that is your definition of voting based on tribe?

In 2011, the entire SW, NC, SS and SE and even some states in the NE like Adamawa and Taraba all voted for GEJ. Even in the NW states, GEJ pulled almost 3.4 million votes against Buhari's 6.4million votes and this is supposed to be Buhari's zone in the North. As a matter of fact, if the entire 5 million votes which GEJ got from the SE was subtracted and added to Buhari's figure, GEJ would have still won the 2011 election clean and fair, no jokes!

Fast-forward to the year 2015, a solid 5 years after everyone had sufficiently watched GEJ's performance, and the entire equation changes; the SW and NC withdraw their support, the NE states withdraw their support and also, the millions of GEJ votes from the NW disappears. The SS maintains their support for obvious reasons and the SE maintains their support (this time with fanaticism) for reasons I absolutely cannot fathom.

My brother my brother, if you cannot discern from this scenario that there was something GEJ did not do right between 2011 and 2015, then I'm sorry, your case is truly irredeemable. God help you and all others like you out there!

Criticism is not bad, it is welcome but wailing is totally unacceptable, it meant for mourners and abobaku's.

It's not by gra gra or by shouting! Show me evidence that things have gotten worse under Buhari. I agree with you that he is not performing up to the level we expected but he's certainly not performing worse than the previous administration. I was in Lagos some months back and electricity has definitely gotten better, I went to Ibadan and visited other States like Edo and Delta, electricity is not stable yet but it is improving. You mentioned the economy but didn't offer any proof, show me that the economy has gotten worse when we compare January 2015 to now. I understand we want things better, I for one am very disappointed by the sluggishness but to say Buhari is dragging the economy down is nothing but a blatant lie!

I'm not a vivid supporter of any party, but I've noticed that APC wants to eliminate the opposition totally. I get that they want to revenge the suffering PDP did to them for so long, but how does removing competition help the common Nigerian peoplehuh
We need the opposition to remain a strong party so that APC will be on their toes, working hard to get the vote of Nigerians again in 2019. If there's no opposition, APC will behave anyhow they like, just like what PDP did when they had no strong opposition like APC.
Like someone told me, we cannot have MTN as the only network because they'll rip us off, we need more GLO, AIRTEL and others to keep them competitive and ready to work for their customers.

Did you guys just imply that we fought for nothing?... It is very clear from the tweets that nothing could be worse than the world record mediocrity of 2010-2015. Even if this government doesn't live up to expectation, we will gladly vote them out in 2019, but be ye reminded that no matter how bad this government turns out to be, the monumental achievement of booting the last mediocrity out can never be overemphasized.

At least now Nigerians know it is possible to boot out a non-performing incumbent, that is a great step forward.
Good idea, if only PMB and APC will not interfere with the elections then. PMB won because Jonah was honourable enough not to interfere.

Hope the trend continues. Let our votes count. Let the voice of the masses be heard through their vote. That will be great. grin

Out of everything you mentioned, it is only the Boko Haram issue that interests me, the rest are vague campaign promises which politicians make all the time during campaigns. The petrol queues are caused by filling station owners who want to make a profit because they don't want to sell their inventory at the reduced price. Like I said no one is happy with the sluggishness of things especially on the Boko Haram issue, hopefully he can turn things around soon!

Something you need to understand is that things can only get better as regards elections. If the people stand up and vote and defend their votes, there is hardly anything the politicians can do to subvert the will of the people. Long ago, the people were nonchalant and believed their votes don't count, hence no one bothers to come out to defend their votes. But now, with the recent awareness that even an incumbent president can be kicked off through an election, I can assure you that many more people would be more interested in voting and defending their votes now. It would no longer be business as usual for election riggers and there will hardly be anything the power of incumbency can do.

Good to know that finally some of the APC sympathizers are waking up. More will follow soon and do the needful. They keep pretending knowing well that APC's foundation was built on lies and propaganda.

I personally blocked Omojuwa from my Twitter because of his prejudice statements but I'll have a rethink.

CC: TonyeBarcanista, Chukwudi44, Temitemi1 should we welcome a new wailer to our wailing camp although I don't trust him.
Omojuwa usually talk with the two side of is mouth. I have criticize him severally on twitter, he felt he owns the only brain on social media. The fact is, omojuwa is stuck supporter of Tinubu and he is pained for the fact that is paid father have been ousted by this administration so far. To me, Omojuwa is nothing but a psychopant.

Honestly, I hope it is so. The reruns in some states will be a good litmus test. With our judiciary, armed forces, and all, under the control of the presidency, I will be too optimistic to agree with u for now. I will have to wait and see.

Power too plenty at the top. I hope the political consciousness u talk about will stand the test of time. Hunger too much and people generally will sell their rights for some bread and butter.

If I were PMB, I will never interfere with inec, judiciary, or use the armed forces for party gain. I will set the highest standards possible. I will secure my name and get on the good side of posterity. He has all he needs to succeed. Hope he grabs it. I am actually praying he does. grin

Buhari is not Jesus and he's definitely not a prophet. He's one of the last good Nigerian leader that we have but old age and the Nigerian system of democracy means he is very limited. I think most Nigerians voted for him not because of his credentials but because we knew that 4 more years of GEJ is too much. We were determined to put anybody there just to show those politicians that they are certainly replaceable. Let's keep praying for Buhari to perform and if he doesn't we'll vote him and his party out in 2019!
