1. There are 32 seats in rivers house of Assembly
2. Only 20. Seats were nullified meaning 12. Meat electoral requirements
3 the 12 seats had the elections on the same day with the governor ship elections so same voters voted for the 12 seats.
The tribunal in its Judgement for the guber said a total rerun but the house of Assembly only 20 seats should be rerun.

I see wike winning the appeal case cos he would say the tribunal has in its Judgement in the house of Assembly petition agread that elections took place in parts of rivers state as such a contradiction pls lawyers in the house enlighten me unbiased pls

APC: Active Professional criminals. Am not surprise because we know how their godleader ruled lagos state before spreading out. This is not a change but a conspiracy to forcefully remove the opposition from the race. So far so long, there has been no re-run in all the APC rulling states or would they argue it that petitions were not submitted to the tribunal and that there was no rigging in their elections(winnings). We must get to the fact that CHANGE should be random(re-run of elections where riggings took place) and not loopsided. My question is, if(conditional statement) PMB looses in 2019, will he accept defeat just as jonathan did or lead nigeria into her second civil war by not accepting the defeat? Answer the question in your heart.

There was no election to really speak of in Rivers State as reported by both domestic and international observers. That Wike and his PDP cohorts thought they could get away with it, despite the fact that parade has changed gear, was nothing short of foolhardy.

Just imaging that if GEJ had won the elections, these disgraceful souls would have got away with it.

This will create a very serious constitutional crisis. If the supreme court finally affirms the judgement of the tribunal and the governor, speaker and 20 members of the assembly vacates their seats, who will take over the government of Rivers state pending when elections will be held?

Elections petition tribunals sitting in Abuja have nullified the election of the Speaker, Owaji Ibani from Andoni constituency and 20 lawmakers in Rivers state house of assembly. The lawmakers were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party on April 11 2015 in an election marred by vote rigging and violence.

The judgements given today by the relevant tribunals in Abuja is bound to compound the case of the governor of the state, Nyesom Wike, who was sacked last week by a tribunal under the same circumstances. There are 32 state lawmakers in Rivers state with the election of 21 members nullified the state assembly will no longer form a quorum as  to continue to function.
