Why Dakuku/APC would be return back to Government house. 1. The traditional Upland/Riverine dichotomy. The elders and stakeholders in the state as forefathers had thought it wise for fairness, equity and peace in the state, that political parties must nominate candidates based upon this norm. This was how Amaechi an Ikwerre came on board haven through Odili pacified his fellow contestants from the Riverine. In the run up to the PDP primaries, the likes of Dump LuluBriggs&16 others petitioned the party on the gentleman agreement but instead some of them were beaten to stupor by Wike's touts. There is a quiet rumbling in the jungle of the Riverine and other non ikwerre ethicity to uphold this sacred tradition of rotation and nature has bestored them the opportunity once more. 2. Dearth of development under "our brother". Despite influencing 2 million votes- the highest for his brother in the 2011 election, Rivers state became worse off under his watch. Wike blocked other PDP stalwarts from gaining contracts to the state from the Federal Government because of his greed and desperation to knock off all contestants to Brick House. Its in record that during the 2015 campaign, "our brother" affirmed he didn't do anything for us as alleged. Under "our brother", the International Airport was abandoned, surveillance aircraft to reduce oil bunkering was terminated. The syringe factory never saw the light of the day. UNEP report was neglected. Proceeds from Soku oil well (Rivers) was awarded to neighboring Bayelsa. Rivers Oil wells were given to Abia& Akwaibom. All these could have boosted the economy of the state & reduce unemployment. 3. Return of thuggery, kidnapping, insecurity, armed robbery, multiple local government levies& "matching ground" under Wike. The non indigenes who make up 45% of the state electorate have been reminded of those horrible past under PDP/Odili were we sleep with one eye opened. The state has recently slipped back to those dark days of torment. Shop owner are being harassed forcefully to pay multiple levies that never gets to the LGAs. They wear authorized ID cards issued by the Wike led government. Property developers in the state are neither spared too. If you don't comply to their demands your properties would be confiscated plus you can get brulalized. All these never existed under Amaechi/APC led government. 4. Government is a continuum. The undeniable achievements of the Amaechi/APC led government in education, agriculture, roads, employment etc now abandoned by Wike would be continued and improved upon under Dakuku. 5. Sponsorship, denial& arrest of Biafrans. The Igbo minority in Rivers state are the bulk of the non indegenes who can give a bloc vote. They are scattered round Phalga, Obioakpor and Eleme. They have been embarrased by Wike after he initially supporter their agitation but later withdrew & its pay back time. 6. Since 1967 Rivers state has always aligned with the Party at the Center. It is a known fact that Rivers state does not play opposition to the winning party at the Federal level. This is sacrosanct and Wike knows this. It necessary to assist the state gain contributions for its development from the Federal government this has helped Akwaibom, Bayelsa& Rivers in the past. The stakeholders are beginning to withdraw to the drawing board to reaccess their interest as having not been achieved under a supposed Wike/GEJ administration they may submit to negotiations under a Dakuku/PMB tenure. Under PMB Elements petroleum was completed and functional. UNEP report has been given support. Many more goddies would come especially with Amaechi as a minister and he does know how to negotiate. 7. Wike will be prosecuted on fraud as education minister and on killings during last election. DakukuGreaterTogether........ |

Creamz:especially when the animal call Buhari is heading the federal side. What is more painful is the south south people who sees nothing in lifting their wealths to the north. Buhari will definetely use the Amaechi factor since he Amaechi is willing to give him their wealth. In the case of Oshiomhole, the Oba of Benin is there watching, constantly warning and advising Oshiomhole against any attempts to assist Buhari more than necessary and at such, Oshiomhole cannot llift the wealths of Edo state just the ways the rivers foolish Amaechi is doing. Am always asking, if there had been any time, when any Northerner governor has EVER given any kobo to the ONLY southern president, GEJ? They will never do that, instead, they will abandon him and decamp away. Amaechi is so foolish that he will never consider all these facts. |

Just as expected, wike has started the war song seeking for innocent riverians he will sacrifice for his selfish and wicked ambition instead of building up affection and telling rivers state people that no ones blood is worth him remaining governor, he is willing to plunge the state into chaos and bloodbath to remain governor I am just shocked that the past four months and wikes vendeta governance should have open their eyes (rivers state people) to the vampire pretender governor Out of all the governors in nigeria "wicked" wike is the only one pursuing vendeta still, even fayose has buried the hatchet and is supporting his predecessor for ministerial appointment despite initially accusing him of corruption now wicked whant more riverians dead. YOU are wrong!! and impugning on the integrity of the judiciary.. It is the same Judiciary that upheld the election of Delta State Governor!!! The Judiciary already Upheld the election of the Senators in River state because, even though there was impunity during the Presidential/National house of Assembly election day, INEC allowed it and only after that, INEC realized its mistakes and issued directives that NO manual accreditation during subsequent election for the Governorship/State Assembly. Most states abided by the directive substantially and in some states where there was faulty card readers, election was postponed till the following day in those areas to comply with the No card reader no accreditation policy. 2kris: |

Once a tout, always a tout! Thuggery should be the second name of this man. Just look at the way and manner a supposed governor is speaking ill of our judicial system. And they said that this man is a lawyer. Lawyer my foot! What has happened to the rule of law? Are the courts no longer the bastion of our democracy and hope for the oppressed? Why is Wike loosing faith in the Judiciary? Is it not the same judiciary that he is castigating that he will still appeal to? Wike has proved by this his outburst that he indeed subverted the will of the people by rigging himself in through violence and thuggery as the supposed governor of beleaguered Rivers State. By this unfortunate statement, it appears he wants to call the people out to violence to protect a stolen mandate. Must he rule this State? He should subject himself to the rule of law and not show desperation to be governor by all means. He said he is popular. Now is the time to prove it. I read some comments which alluded to Wike winning hundred times if election is conducted one hundred times. So what is he afraid of? This is the time to test his popularity instead of ranting about a judicial gang up against him. I feel so annoyed that men like this are taking our country for granted because things are not going their way. He wants to create chaos and bloodshed because he wants to be governor. This is vain ambition that must be resisted by the people of Rivers State. Must the ambition of one vain-glory seeking man destroy Rivers State? I think not. The people of this State have had enough and deserve a break. The rerun election may likely restore peace and tranqulity to this once described garden city. Wike should subject himself to this election if he truly believes that he won the last election freely. It is only then he will be talking about a mandate freely given by his people. For now, there is no mandate but a mandate stolen by him through the connivance of the former first family. He should now go out of his own accord and contest if he believes he is popular enough to win election in Rivers State. |
