Joke of the century.. grin

Asking a goat to prevent a sheep from eating community grass, no be cooperative chopping go end am.. cheesy

What needs to be understood is the principle behind this approach. It's a "poisoned chalice" approach.

Let me explain how it works. The person to conduct the probe is usually a high level EFCC official who is likely in line to possibly become the head if the present one is removed. He either does a "coverup" job, which implicates him going forward or he does a thorough transparent exercise which might either indict or exonerate. Either way, his integrity and thoroughness then becomes the focus of the probe. That's why it's a poisoned chalice

This is to plead with my internet friends, donsmith123, OnankpaBa, oluwasmith1 and all others in their team or army.

That;

1. I wonder why an allegation will so pain all of you when you made same of others without proof.

2. That it is annoying to shout figures of Amaechi's financial prodigy without going to court to challenge him.

3. That if Wike had all evidences, a good case is not just prosecuted on media houses but in law court.

4. That while I have only alleged, I need to prove the case before donsmith123 can be taken to be all I alleged.

5. That the face I saw is around my age bracket, so I respect your innocence in the making allegations you can't prove.

6. That the allegation I made though untrue, are being made by Nigerians on so many others day in day out without evidences.

7. That when someone alleges a thing, it does not mean it is true until proven beyond doubt.

Thank you all, have a nice day.

Nigeria is on autopilot..

THEY RECOVER LOOT , THEY LOOT IT AGAIN.

Biggest EFCC recoveries were under OBJ... Being Abacha loots. I pity all nairaland youths who jump up at sensational news about fighting corruption. Is it Akpabio you want to jail or Amaechi you want to jail ? Nigerian Judiciary is MAN KNOW MAN.

Now its possible Jonathan fought corruption more than all these other noise makers..

Its your turn to be quizzed Mr quizzer
DONSMITH123:
The House of Representatives has commenced fresh investigation into the alleged non-remittance of over N1 trillion generated from seized assets by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to the Federation Account.
The House consequently mandated its committee on financial crimes to investigate the matter.
The resolution was reached after adopting a motion by Minority Leader Leo Ogor (PDP, Delta), asking that the alleged non-remittance be investigated to ascertain its authenticity.
Ogor in his motion said: “The past and present leadership of the EFCC is being accused of diversion of funds worth billions of naira meant to be paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation as stipulated by Section 31 subsection 2 and 3 of the EFCC Act of 2004.
“The Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Justice has directed the EFCC to investigate the allegation against Ibrahim Lamorde and to forward the result of its investigation to him,” he said.
Ogor added that, “by the powers conferred on the House by Section 88(I) of the 1999 Constitution as amended, the House, just like the police and the ICPC can investigate the diversion of funds by Lamorde, past and present leaders of the EFCC.”
There were reports in the media that the Federal Ministry of Justice had directed the EFCC to investigate the allegation of diversion of recovered funds by its chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde.
This followed a petition dated September 18, 2015 to the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr. Abdullahi Yola.

EFCC debunks claims
However, the EFCC has debunked claims that it was under investigation, saying that it would be illogical to ask EFCC to investigate itself.
Head of media and publication of EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said this yesterday during a telephone chat with Daily Trust.
According to him, no letter had been sent to the EFCC by the Justice ministry.
“How will the Federal Government ask EFCC to investigate itself? It is illogical.”
Daily Trust reports that the Senate had earlier opened a similar probe of the anti-graft commission, but some senators dismissed it as illegal and accused Senate President Bukola Saraki of taking up the commission for investigating his wife, Toyin.
A petition was written against Lamorde by Dr. George Uboh, the Chief Executive Officer, Panic Alert Security Systems (PASS).
Chairman, Senate Adhoc Committee on publicity, Dino Melaye, told journalists last month that the probe of the Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Larmode, over the alleged diversion of the monies recovered from a former Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha and former Inspector-General of Police, Tafa Balogun, was continuing.

A tribunal was set and Amaechi was invited... He bluntly refused to come out to it... He kept himself behind doors and awaits his name on buhari's ministerial list..

Wike, after much, sent words to him telling him that his refusal to appear before the tribunal means that he's guilty... His silence over the issue was becoz Buhari was rightly behind him. Giving him all the necessary supports and advice he needed to overcome the tribunal..

And Wike was in return accuse over the last election.. This has lately, driven all interest from Amaechi's tribunal and Wike becoming the culprit.

This is politics. APC is playing a digital politics that PDP is still on the verge to understand.

Have you noticed? That any APC who tries to disobey the party's plan will be meant to face his/her past records... Example is Saraki.. He officially edited his profile and removed APC from it and when meant to face his past records he re-edited it again and fold back to APC's will of governance.

As much as it pains me to say this, This administration is very very very very corrupt!
Kai! N1tr?
1. The senate tried to probe Lamorde, our corrupt representatives said its witch hunt because Lamorde picked on Sarakis' wife turning blind eye to the real message - N1tr. If Saraki could not, could they not form a committee to investigate the matter?
2. The most humiliating one is the Federal Govt., they picked up the case, I was expecting to hear good due to the fact that it is the man with body language that personally took it up but to my dismay, nothing was heard about it. The next thing I heard is that Lamorde tenure will soon be over!
I mean people, what serious govt. will ask an agency to interrogate itself?
Another time wasted!
3. Now the House of Rep. has picked it up. Is this how this people will continue deceiving themselves till their tenure is over?
This is very disheartened!
Kudos to Dr George Uboh who has refuse to back down even though the EFCC is trying to intimidate him.
4. Nairalanders, you need to read all the assets seized from Alams and others, Uboh alleged that Lamorde used it for business before remitting it to the govt.
5. Fingers was also pointed at Lamordes' brother!
I don't hate PMB but let no one ever tell me that he is fighting corruption!
if not explain to me how many has the incorruptible man indicted? be specific, what has PMB achieved since his resumption.
Be honest, I want to know.

I believe you know the drama that pervaded the skies and isles of Rivers state from November 2013 till Amaechi and 5 other governors defected to APC.
I hope you know the active roles played by Wike in police intimidations of a siting governor.
I hope you know wike's rallies backed by Mbu Joseph. But Amaechi's rallies teargassed by mbu.
I hope you know many atrocities that precedes the 2015 elections in Rivers.

So, I encourage wike to go to court. Not setting up his loyalists called tribunal to find out what?
