Nothing wrong about it. Its normal.

Don't forget that this is a country where the prime minister's official car is a 1957 Austin 50.

So they should have used a car inside an airport building?
Birds will fly,
Babies will cry,
Ships will sail,
Wailers will wail.

In this article, I want to quickly talk about levers of customer strategy that different things that you really need to know in order to do business from customers’ perspective. I have talked about many of these steps in my previous articles, but believe me, the ones I want to talk about here are equally important.

#1: BRAND MANAGEMENT

Under brand management, you have to extend the capability of a single product across customer segments. Take for example, you sim card, a single sim can do many things, such as surfing the internet with the sim, enjoying some educational and business services. Some have access to satellite dish service through the use of their sim card. When a single product can do so many things at a time, we refer to it as brand management.

#2: CUSTOMER KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Under this, you are bringing all information and data about your customers into a single place called the data warehouse. We normally have the data warehouse which allows the organization to have a single view of customers. From the central database, we can have a single view of customers. From the central database both at the front and the back office, we can have access to customers’ information and use it to resolve customers’ issues completely.

#3: DISTRIBUTION

Under distribution, you are permitting consistent customer experience across the enterprise. You are making sure that whatever channels customers are using to interact with you, they are having the same experience.

#4: SERVICE

Under service, you place premium on the lifetime value of a customer to determine how you are going to treat them. It is just like banks, it is the amount you have in your bank account that will determine the level of respect that your bank will accord you.

#5: When we talk of product innovation , you are concerned with a single product that meet all the needs of customers in a particular segment. You are not trying to come up with a package for every individual but you are coming up with product per segment for each of the categories of customers that you have.

#6: CUSTOMER CULTURE

There are compensation and rewards that are linked to customer metrics. Here, customers are rewarded based on what they are spending on the organization’s product and services. For instance, the discount given to someone that spends one hundred thousand naira on a product will be different from that of someone that spends fifty thousand naira on that same product.

@OP

What "suitable vehicle" are you talking about? The pictures are taken inside the airport and what you see is the approved mode of transport within the airport all travellers, whether it is the Pope or a pauper from Doha, are compelled to use if walking to board a plane or to leave the airport is not an option because of disability, age or even courtesy to important travellers. Do you think you can drive limousines and Mercedes maybachs inside airports?

WAILERS WILL NEVER EVER STOP
I cant just stop imaging why they kept criticizing PMB on his trip to India. Is it because he used the airport golf cart?Thats how it is at Indira Gandhi International Airport. For those who have been there knew its like a half kilometer walk from the airplane tunnel to the VIP lounge. I tried so many times to make use of the cart but always got a reply from the Driver (Indian ascent) "Foorr VIP and Senior Citirzens only". So you see there is noting wrong about it. The thing need to consider is do we have such facility in our airports?NO!. I remember last week when the Nigerian Aviation Ministry debunked a report of Nigeria having some of the worst airports in the world. I think if we want to complain of such unfair reception we should just then cast our minds back to Murtala Muhammed International Airport,Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport or even Aminu Kano International Airport to see if we have such facility.
Now lets Judge ourselves. A VIP treatment is considered as a special treatment or reception in which someone is honored. If Nigerians doesn't have a golf cart in our airports I Abubakar Suleiman will consider PMB been treated fairly in a foreign land. Chikenan!

Don't you get the simple fact being pointed out to you here? If you are going to go through normal boarding or arrival, which involves walking through the interior of the airport, then this is the only vehicular transport available to all who do not want to walk or cannot walk - be it a Prime Minister or a tourist. Of course their President will not use the cart because it is his Country and he is the number one citizen and thus likely to be driven directly to the tarmac to board his plane. Anybody else who has to go through the airport, whoever they are, must walk or use the travel cart provided.

Thank you ojare. Perhaps he thinks the interior of airports have roads for Limousines to travel on. Nairaland is amusing at times because the utterances of some makes you realise you are rubbing e-shoulders with all sorts of characters like those, for example, who have never seen the inside hall of an airport.

Op your stuupidity is a generational curse only God himself can remove from your life and the life of your family members. Grow up please, That's an internal airport ride to carry passengers, usually VIPs.

This isn't funny anymore. There is viral outbreak in this country which is worse than Ebola outbreak, Nigeria youths are losing their senses and becoming more dumb and more stuupid each passing day and I think this is the reason World bank raised an alarm about the Nigeria economy recently.
