Thanks for your opinion. Dude above ME.
I will not debate with one who knows nothing, agrees with nothing, believes in nothing, has hope for nothing but debates EVERYTHING.

BOLDED

Are you for abuse or for logical reasoning. In the comfort of your mind, you do thought you are more intelligent than NL FREE THINKERS who figured things out for themselves then left the religion of their parents.

Have you ever thought deeper in your mind the word inspiration. Who even cook up those stories. Are they really certain that those thoughts of theirs are not dreams or hallucinations which you do experience one way or the other too? Or did they phantom all these as legendary stories as we had here too(Nigeria and our local myth story of turtle or that sorts)? The monster in the heaven actually like dealing or revealing himself to a fraction of few men rather than to the world through more vivid evidence and prove. Did god intentionally hidden himself from us to test whether we can figure it out things for ourselves.

So many questions left unanswered by religion believers like you. We atheists followed more plausible explanations rather than resorting to a known mythical stories of the primeval isreali, Roman, and Greek culture and traditions.

Dont think we are not previously religious like you are now,we may even be pretty much deeper then. Compelling religion and science without bias will land you to more plausible and explainable facts of things.

Have religion through their ever trusted ideas produce anything or Explorations to better human wellbeing and understanding of the working processes of the universe.

One last thing is that science is more harder to understand but religion is all about just believing in what one book inscribed and was told by your parents
Dont take this the wrong way, i'm just tryna correct you little error in your signature text.. It is '21st' not '21th'... You are welcome.

No atheist has been able to figure out what 'was' before the Big Bang...Religion answers that question - GOD!

There are a lot of archealogical evidence to back up most of what was written in the Bible. Concerning such "stories" like the Creation, it would be difficult for a human to 'hallucinate' such event in so much detail...No man existed before the Creation! Yet Moses was able to write about it, now that's inspiration from the Holy spirit

My point exactly! I'm pretty sure if scientist could admit that the Laws which they propound were created by a Creator; citing the Big Bang and the Theory of evolution. God said let there be Light and there was light! Don't u see that scientist also say the same thing but only deny the possible evidence of a Super Force behind it, I mean matter can't be created nor destroyed; but that was after Matter itself was created by a Supreme being...
....These are what I mean when I say, can't scientist be Chrisitians too?

Science tries to explain what is already in that book...But its the Scientist that refuse to think it that way...undecided
No offence but the above is beyond facepalm worthy so I'll just go ahead and respond to the OP.

Like others have said, religion and science do not necessarily contradict each other. While science outright disproves some most religious stories, cherry picking what you want to believe has always been an option.

To be a scientist, all you have to do is follow the scientific method (and of course do nerdy stuff). 'Scientists' who don't only end up being the laughing stock of the scientific community, eg creationists, climate change denyers, flat earthers and those expanding-earth people.

One thing is for sure, science is objective while religion isn't so there's no questioning which is more valid.

Can you be more religious than a Catholic Priest like Fr Georges Lemaitre who was the first scientist to propound the big bang theory?

Let us imagine that it isn't for one moment.

Read your topic and tell me again that Catholic Priests like Fr Georges Lemaitre don't have "religious faith."

That religious faith is not in conflict with science.

Christianity is not in conflict with science.

It is a lack of understanding of both that can make you even question it.

The same lack of understanding that makes you say you're a Christian but Pope Francis is not a Christian...

Yet you base your faith on the Bible that was compiled and canonized by the Catholic Church under Pope Damasus in 382.

When you open the door of truth, nothing will be the same again.

Today there are over 1,700 religious sects, cults and denominations confessing to be the bearers of light, yet most are in contradiction with one another. A man or woman seeking the truth is like a rat in a maze of 1,700-plus roads with only one reaching the "God" destination. Many will assume theirs is the correct one. Your chances are not good.

Fortunately, the God who created all things has written a book-an owner's manual, which is commonly known as the Holy Bible.

Here's an excerpt from an article I found online

This got me thinking hard as I love Science and I love my God but is it possible? I mean most atheists are those who have grasped vast knowledge to the extent of denying the existence of a Super Being.

Science tries to give proof to everything and anything, while Religion requires us to believe "by Faith" (though the bible explains so many mysteries which can only be decoded through the Holy Spirit)
So I ask! Can one be a scientist and still have a good relationship with God?

Healthy comments pls! Thanks!!
