Okay, as we all know, Biafra is on the lips of a lot of people these days whether some would like to admit it or not, whether they discuss it boldly in public in the face of all, or in their closets away from prying eyes and ears. My question is why haven't any of the Igbo "Big-Wigs" talked about it in public? Where are the likes of Nneka the singer and all the freedom songs she is known for?, Where are the intellectuals and well known Igbos in high places? Why has the public discuss of this pressing issue been left to the touts, internet urchins and degenerates. Honestly , this whole thing is becoming a big joke ...... We need eminent personalities to speak up, else no serious thinking world body will take this movement serious, and will only see it as an avenue for the venting of the frustrations of a poor/wretched hungry man/youth at their national government, rather than the ideology it truly stands for. My 2 cents. Long live Biafra! |

Its you the poor jobless ones that are calling for Biafra. The "big wigs" are busy flexing, getting richer and creating more connections with the Yoruba and Hausa elites. Instead of you to hold your Eastern leaders responsible for the bad situation of the region, you're busy fighting the Nigerian government. Stay there let poverty kill you with Biafra on your mind. |

Igbos are cowards....... if you're looking to hire igbos to protest, you'd have to be Saraki or one Fulani clown like that. 99.99999% of IPOB youths are touts, urchins and frustrated souls. The ones outside Nigeria have been brain-washed by Nnamidi cownu |

Simple. Biafra is an Online Country - the first of it kind in the world. |

No one will ever take you serious until you start voting pro-secessionists into positions of authority. People will keep seeing you as clowns until when your National Assembly members can stand up in the hollow chamber to advocate for Biafra. For now, it is a mere avenue for the venting of the bottled up frustrations of the impoverished ones among you. |

IlekeHD:They only protest when there is money involved. Can you remember the shameless 1million man match for the Devil#s Incarnate -- Abacha, spearheaded by one of them -- Daniel Kanu. |

The way you Yorubas flood Biafra related topics ehhhn, One might be tempted to think it even concerns you lot, when it does not! My destiny is not intertwined with yours! And what we want is self determination! |

Eziokwu1:Cos we care for Biafrans and since its now glaring you guys can't think for you self we have no option than to step in. You see say your fellow Biafrans don dey taya to contribute. |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Yanks101: 3:37pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
And the idiottic OP just gave cowards the opportunity to air their deepest fears. Creating a thread for the fun of it. |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Eziokwu1(op): 3:40pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
Yanks101:Ane exactly why are you describing me as 'Idiotic". If you are truly a proud Nwafor Igbo, you would address the issue I have raised rather than talk rubbish. Why are our leaders hiding under their beds, blankets and wives' wrappers? |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Yanks101: 3:44pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
Eziokwu1:Your leaders are corrupt and must be swept aside even if biafra comes. They have nothing much to contribute. Most of them are rotten and corrupt just like their counterparts in other parts of Nigeria. You should know this instead of creating unnecessary threads. Power belongs to the people, not some priviledged corrupt old farts. |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Truth4eva: 3:49pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
I pity a particular tribe who always flood biafran threads to air their fears. They should concern themselves with how to live with their masters when biafra comes. #in Nnamdi Kanu's voice# at the end Biafra will come. |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Eziokwu1(op): 3:50pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
Yanks101:I didn't call exclusively on just political leaders When I mean "leaders" I mean all persons who have some sort of influence and/or public clout. They are part of the "people", and can do in one day what one million protesters will do in a good one month. And what do you mean "unnecessary threads".... so this discussion is unnecessary to you? |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by LordMecuzy(m): 4:00pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
Eziokwu1:Biafra dream is only online my man.. Go and ask any igbo business man outside southeast he will just laugh over it.. Real igbos are making good money in reality my man, the poor are just consoling themselves here with biafra on nairaland... Come to Abuja and ask any igbo about Biafra!!!!!!! Secession might come in the future, but not now |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Nobody: 4:01pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
Eziokwu1:Unless you are just being plain mischevious and not a true Biafran at heart, then you should know that this thread of yours is stupid. So all the Biafrans you see here at home and in Diaspora championing for the cause are touts and degenerates as you termed it. What eminent personalities are you expecting to lend their voices that will be greater than the cries from millions of Biafrans home and abroad.. like i said earlier you are just being plain mischevious and ignorant. |
| Re: This Biafra Thing Is Loosing Direction by Nobody: 4:05pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
@OP, it isn't loosing direction, its only entering it decision phase. Every ethnicity shall decide on its behalf. If at the end it become stalled, then every group shall choose it own part. Republic of Biafra( including all Igbo subgroups of the SE/SS and other willing minorities), Niger/Delta republic spearhead by all Edoid/Ijoid tribes and other willing minorities. |

Ever since the issue of Nnamdi Kanu's arrest and the renewed call for Biafra and the rise in Biafra agitations, a lot of folks have found it very convenient to badmouth and ridicule not only Nnamdi who is only a vehicle for the Biafran ideology but lampoon the ideology itself... suddenly even children born in the nineties without any sense of history are now experts on Biafra, Igbo and Igboid groups issues. We know ourselves , we the true Biafrans in Nigeria are proud of our identity and need no coercion or manipulation in identifying and fighting for the ideology. A thousand of Tonyebarcanistas and Truckpushers(this guys i respect though) cannot erase or downplay this stand. Millions of dissenting voices from other regions will also fail.. Nigerians are quick to lambast the call for Biafra self determination but no one is ready to address the issues that fuel this agitations. No one is asking the critical questions as to why Igbos want out of this unholy matrimony orchestrated by Lugard and co. All we see even till now is the daily ridicule and marginalization of the Igbo nation. Nigerians have placed Biafrans as second hand citizens since 1970 with no remorse, no fear , no consideration to our numbers and contributions. The generations of Igbos Post 1970 are still being made to suffer for events which they do not know about, and our neighbors never fail to remind their children of the zeal and passion to continually subjugate the citizens of Biafra even if revisionism is employed while telling this tales.. Nnamdi Kanu maybe arrested but the ideology cannot be suffocated, a thousand Nnamdi shall arise and even though it may take years to actualize this ideology, Biafra will one day Shine forth..... On Biafra we stand... |

Watch the response Nnamdi got from his meeting in USA, they smoked him roasted his balls and stuck it in his mouth Elders are more reasonable as far as biafra is concerned it's a scam and they know it Why would they associate themselves with that much ridicule |
