Quite a while I have been a Nairalander. I found the forum a suitable medium for escape, and a center of discuss and exchange of ideas and information. But now Nairaland have suddenly become a playground for hopeless kids and a meeting place of the near lunatics, junkies, drunks, and pathological oafs. Sad as that might be, yet the saddest reality is that the little population of sane and sound members of the forum are being daily inculcated and initiated into the overwhelming population of lunatics that have invaded the forum from all walks of life. I implore seun osewa, the owner of this site, to begin a general sanitation of sort that would rid this site of uselessness and abject lunacy, by permanently deleting all those monikers that constitute nuisance, disgust, and outright sore on this site, if he ever plan on making money from this site nairaland, as no sane business person would advertise a product other than mental prescriptions on a site occupied by mostly the insane. And this sanitation must as a matter of necessity begin with the clearing out of the majorly jobless and nuisating yoruba youths whom to my knowledge have made little or no meaningful contributions to the growth of this site except of course we are to measure growth and success here by unproductiveness, uselessness and absolute shame rather than monetary multiplications. And after them the forum should rid itself of emotions ridden Biafrans who can never overlook any article that had the term Biafra or Igbo on it. I am not saying Biafra should not be discussed or that that any topic should not be discussed, but rather that the discussants of any topic must either be enlightened or excuse the forum. I am a Biafran myself but I am saying that Biafra will not come from we arguing Biafra online all day and responding to every thread that made mentions of Biafra or Igbo. This measure if taken by you seun, would rid this site of uselessness and pave way for saner beings to overtake nairaland and make it a template where gifted minds assemble daily to analyze and proffer solutions to life's multi facet challenges. And in so doing your site would attract money ladden advertisements that your pocket too may be filled with money instead of mockery. Please seun, save nairaland before it turns to a habitat of the hopeless and the deranged. ... some of these folks like shymexx need to stop posting when they are not in their right mind. it really downgrades the forum. the smelly vagina folks also need to carry their joblessness somewhere else. for goodness sake, who cares why their balls are smelling? ![]() |

When will all these peeps take chill pill and come to term with the fact that this is an open forum to all btw this place isnt for serious minded people only,it act as a good relaxation spot and some of those comments help calm the nerves. If you are not comfortable with some of those posts kindly ignore and post yours.... ![]() ![]() |

Op, it's a forum. People of all works of life visit here. Some to be enlightened, others to be entertained. I'll advice you to ignore unrelevant posts cos I don't see your request granted. All seriousness and no unseriousness all the time isn't fun at all. #IMO. |
| Re: The Misery Of Being A Nairalander by tpiah11: 1:38am On Oct 30, 2015 |
some of the posts are over the top unnecessary. people from all walks of life, different nationalities etc visit here, it's ostensibly a Nigerian forum. why would some folks constantly be displaying madness and trying to make it look like everyone is as uncultured, gutter, ill natured, bitter, whiny and straight up psycho like them? ![]() If you are not in your right mind, dont post! Simple! whatever personal grievances you have against anybody, are your own concern, stop dragging everyone else down with you! |

Your article is nice but seeing you tag many of the lunatics you earlier lamented their activities here leaves me with no choice than to dismiss your write-up. |

PassingShot:If I didn't tag all how do you want them to see it? |
| Re: The Misery Of Being A Nairalander by PassingShot(m): 5:55am On Oct 30, 2015 |
illiad:Why do they have to see it? Before you know it, they will turn the thread into another battle field even before it gets to the second page. |

You try na. A well calculated attempt against one tribe. The Biafran ish was a cover up. When will all these tribal bigots have sense? |
| Re: The Misery Of Being A Nairalander by Nobody: 6:41am On Oct 30, 2015 |
If the apc-led government provide the youth jobs, there is a high probability this forum would have only ten members in total. It is a known fact unemployment and boredom is the cause of high internet activity. Nigerian blogs enjoyed patronage the most during the last ASUU strike, this dwindled when schools got back in session. As for the thread I give it one more page before someone we all know nukes it. Too many threads of this nature have appeared of recent which get closed fast as they're open. OP thanks for voicing your concern but I like nairaland as it is. |

Illiad Those people provide entertainment, the only reason why you would be pissed is if you take everything too seriously or too personally Furthermore it's near impossible to root out all those drunks, kids, junkies, they are not high everyday, on sober days they actually post sense Finally it's everybody's responsibility to root out the bad ones Seun has given you the power to be the informant / judge, you see anything not reasonable or immature Use the report button, but you have to do that without prejudice, hate or tribalism .. Thank you and God bless |

alienvirus:Don't mind the holier-than-thou biafridiot. Their inability to drop off their cloak of bigotry is their greatest undoing. |

You lost it when you started mentioning tribes. Anyway, the madness generates traffic for the owner. Many attempts have been made in time past to remedy the situation but all fell on deaf ears. There's no remedy for Nairaland. Just get used to it. |

My friend, if you're looking for serious minded peeps, then visit the nearest mortuary. Here, on Nairaland, it's different strokes for different folks. |

illiad..... A poetry of two parts written by a Greek poet Homer. The first part describing the events that led to the Trojan War and the War itself - heroes and villains, brute and metis, love and greed, women and their control over men, and Gods and men; the second partdescribing the aftermath of the Trojan War with emphasis on the Journey of Odysseus from Troy back to Ithaca - Goddesses and Cyclobs, Titans and Natural Disasters ...... öjadïlï....... I just feel like living in those times |
