[s]To the masses and IPOB, we understand your feeling and anger but we are one now.. The best we can do is join hands together and fight these leaders who don’t care about us, we are supposed to be doing what we can to fix Nigeria for ourselves, our children and our children's children. You shouldn't keep up with blasphemy against the country you are still part of, want it or not you are still part of Nigeria so why the hatred against the country you are part of? Please let’s build a better Nigeria together with our honesty and diligence because that is what the nation needs. We shouldn't try and mess things up again because peace and unity is all we want. [/s] I stopped reading after this trash. We were not one, are not one, and will never be one. It's not by force to be one, and it's insanity and stupidity combined to continue to waste effort trying to fix a country as useless as Nigeria. Yes, people died during the war. People died after the war, and people are still dying even now. There is a universal fact and it's termed - Valar Morghulis - all men must die! If Nigeria insistence at keeping a nation against it's will leads to another war, free men will give their lives for a shot at liberty. This basic fact is fundamental, and even those who fear death will not live forever! So please stop scare mongering with Biafran war deads, it's no longer working. It's stale!! |

A good messeage was passed up there suddenly you turned it to another Biafra bullshit. i am from the South south and as a sensible person there are somethings you should know and consider. Speaking like if the war starts now he is going to lead the soldiers to battle, do you even care about the innocent civilians who wants nothing but peace that are going to die in the war? MUMU.. they'll just come online and say crap and quickly turn everything to a tribal war. |

Most Nigerians regard Biafra as synonymous with war but the truth is that Biafra has always been a democratic and peaceful agitation. It is Nigeria that always brings war into the issue of Biafra. Before Ojukwu declared Biafra,he constituted the Eastern Nigeria consultative forum to advice him on what to do. This forum comprised of all the Chiefs and representatives of the 20 provinces of the old eastern region. It was the same Ojukwu who despite the deafening sound "secession!" in East against the wholesale massacre of easterners all over Nigeria that still had the temerity of mind to sit down with Gowon in Ghana and hammer out an agreement so that there would be no war. It was Gowon that broke the agreement with the creation of states and Ojukwu asked the consultative forum what to do. They mandated him to declare Biafra. When people talk about Ojukwu, they don't realise the pains that Ojukwu went through to avoid war. The same people never query Gowon for going against the Aburi accord he signed in Ghana. People never question why the North had to massacre over 50,000 easterners, men, women and children. All you you hear from Nigerians is "Ojukwu started the war!". The ignorance of most Nigerians is truly incredible. Through out the 3 years the war lasted, Ojukwu kept telling Gowon that he would call a halt to the war if Gowon agreed to a referendum or plebicite so that the people could decide their fate but Gowon said no! "We must be one Nigeria!", "treason!"The result is that it wasn't Biafra soldiers that died but innocent civilians in their millions, mostly through starvation and disease. All to keep a British fabrication called Nigeria one. The same thing is about to repeat its self before our very eyes. Uwazurike started MASSOB and chose a peaceful non violent approach. What did Nigerians do? "Kill them!" "One Nigeria!" "Treason!". True to type, the Nigerian authorities gunned down MASSOB members, clamped them in jail and detained and tortured Uwazurike. Watching all this were other MASSOB members like Nnamdi Kanu and Ben Onwuka. They decided that the Nigerian Government doesn't understand the word peace. So Nnamdi formed IPOB and Radio Biafra while Onwuka formed the Biafran Zionist Federation or BZF. This time, both men now added an element of militancy to their struggle. What did Nigerians once again do? "Kill them" "one Nigeria" "Treason!". Both men have been detained in Nigerian custody with many of their followers languishing in jail. Now what do Nigerians think that the next breed of Biafran agitators are going to be? The next ones are those who are going to embrace full blown militancy. These ones will be the ones who are going to be carrying guns, unlike Uwazurike, Kanu and Onwuka. These ones will be the ones that Police and DSS will not be able to arrest without a shoot out. Boko Haram in the North, Biafran Militancy in the east, possible return of the Niger-Delta militants who are currently restive. As this unfolds, as this tragedy is about to happen, you Nigerians are going to shout the same old chant as Nigeria goes down in flames. Such a pity |

To all Igbos(both in the SE and SS), Those pix above shows the sacrifice our fathers made to ensure that Great Biafra stands.its time we show them that we'd not fail in our duty as descendants of Great Biafra Great Biafra has fallen, just like Great Goguryeo fell but we as the descendants haven't failed!. When our own "Dae JoYoung" comes,I want us to join hands with him and resurrect the state that Eri built and his son Ifikuanim established its power. Pandishi ,we as Igbos must survive and reclaim Great Biafra! ![]() |

I will proudly give my life up for biafra. I would proudly fight to disintegrate Nigeria and for my future children to have a nation they can proudly tell the world they came from. If you can't tell me right now, you'll give your life up for Nigeria. Even your soldiers run away whenever Book haram is present then explain to me why the f2k you want me or any other biafran to join you and scream "one Nigeria". Op I don't see any of what you posted as a bad thing. I see it as a fight our ancestors did to try and give their chdren a good future. It is the same way I don't even see my granddad's death during the massacre as a bad thing but rather as a hero who died proud of who the heck he is. Someone I can proudly say that he rather die than deny who he was just to appease a bigoted soldier. Like pointb stated, we are never one and will never be one. We enjoy the threats and insults though because it unifies and increases our drive out of a bigoted nation. |

kingzizzy:I couldn't have said it better. Thank you for this quote. I find it laughable whenever they accuse Nnamdi for being hateful yet they seem to forget it was THEM that made Nnamdi hateful. He was a member of massob...he believed in peaceful dissolution that they claim he should be preaching yet ironically, he was harrashed, arrested and the zoo animals continuously wished him and his members dead yet they wonder why the man turn from a peaceful thinker to wishing total destruction for that zoo. They equally wonder why he turned from calling the country by it's name to referring it as a zoo. In our eyes we see them trying to rewrite current activities like they did during biafra It seems that country does not learn from it's mistake. The ND militants was created from them turning a peaceful protestors to gun carrying militants Likewise the same situation with Boko haram And from the pattern of Biafran agitator, it's slowly turning the same situation. I'll be watching as it on-folds. |
