I been thinking it was just me. I rarely excercise now but I have portions control down to a tee.....certain foods are no longer consumed by moi and wait for it, I weigh 58kg now. I don't want to lose any more and my oranges berra not get any smaller angry

Well done bae, you look hot. These days I am rocking mini skirts and boots to work, a few of my colleagues have asked me in jest if I am having an affair shocked lipsrsealed

Pele, i think the last stretch is the hardest and it does seem like it can only be achieved through diet . You will get there ......this journey took a year and 1 month and I look back and can't believe it myself.

Some tips, I never used to shop at Iceland but I wandered into my local one day for some milk only to discover an array of very reasonably priced seafood......lobsters, cleaned whole fish....and mehn I have added Iceland to my food shop destination. There is a box with two whole cleaned sea bass for £5.... I defrost overnight, wrapped in a foil of some seasoning and cook in the oven in the foil in 20 mins...I eat and actually love eating stir frys now and not eaten bread or pasta in good knows how long. But I am still cheating on Oreo cookies occasionally lipsrsealed

You're right. The last lap is usually the hardest.

I've got a strict routine during the week (Mon - Fri) but on weekends, I tend to slack. Waking up early in the mornings before cockcrow on Saturdays and Sundays, when I just want to have a lie-in is a Herculean task. I only just about managed to get there on time today for my 9:30 swim class (oh, I've been moved up from Adult Improvers to Adult Advanced - yayy!!) and so missed out on doing my 30 mins sit up + 1 hr run.

Not easy but I'll get there. Dieting gets easier with time as you get used to avoiding certain foods too.

@Damiso: The clocks have moved back one hour na - so going for the early morning run isn't going to pose too much of a problem. smiley

I know efe embarassed it's the whole grey/cold look that autumn/winter has that makes it not so appealing. But I just have to drag myself out most of my work outs these days are mind over matter anyway cos I never feel like it but I just find myself doing it . I even go to bed in sports bra and running clothes sometimes embarassed so I can just get up and go embarassed needless to say hubby is not a fan of the sports bra in bed business embarassed cheesy grin

Yeah,that's what most trainers say I.e abs are made in the kitchen.

I have heard no carbs after 3pm,less sugary fruits eg bananas,red grapes etc helps. I did that for a week that is no carbs after 3pm but some days I still stumble. I don't have carbs after 7pm though and I hope to gradually get to the 3pm cut off.

The struggle is real.lethargy does sure set in it takes a whole of will power to keep going. I have running partners but you know how it is sometimes with lil children and child care issues sometimes clashing.

Some of my friends in naija who have live in nannies,house helps ,driver ,washman were asking me when do I get the time to exercise? I said it's a priority so I make the time. My life is busy but if I can squeeze in a full hour (or more sometimes )to watch TV I can squeeze in time for exercise.

swimming sounds so cool.Doing varied activities makes exercising less boring and monotonous so seems your method is one to adopt.

No fruits and no other vegetables other than green coloured ones, zero sugar!. Carbs restricted to only yams and sweets potatoes, no rice, potatoes or naija swallows. No juice or any sugared flavoured drink. If you are a coffee drinker, you have to give it up too............lots of green tea and avocados. Like I said, I cracked after 2 weeks and have not been able to repeat the feat and the inches i lost have not been gained back thankfully. If i could repeat it for a month, I go happy die

I had to purposely add some weight cuz of my frontlights too, that padded solution from Chilli no be am for me at all
I need the real thing wink
