I always see this "Channels television station for the 9th time" when ever am watching this station.
It got me wondering who exactly is organising this competition and who are the other competitors in this category.

Hope this is not another form of corruption.

Ironically, i am on their website now reading News.

I think there is nothing fishy about the award, it is a good news station.

But who organises the award how did they manage to to win it 9 times. Me I smell a rat o.

Anyone who that sets exam for himself will pass with good grades..

Channels tv, indeed they worth the award

It is a known fact that channel tv attack PDP and used as opposition midia during jonathan region but now they have become pro govt and indiretly supporting APC under buhari.

Na corruption joor,e suppose be galaxy or PDP's AIT.

I don't know, but I have no reason to doubt it.
Initially MTN was using your best connection, other network providers sue them to court that the slogan was demarketing them because no one gave them such award and it also portrays them as not being good enough.
The court ruled in their favor and Mtn got no choice but to change the slogan.
I believe if Channels was not given that award, they won't be using it and if they do others would have questioned it.
There was a time Galaxy tv use it also for about 2years, and afterwards, they starts including the year they were given so as not to cause misrepresentation of them receiving it in the current year.
I hope this helps. Thanks.

Nice observation!

I kept wondering where the events on which the award is presented are held.

Though, they deserve it sha.

Haba bros! Channels is always neutral.

Channels keeps winning that award because they have successfully remained non-partisan over the years, while being consistent in operating as a core news channel.

The award is credible and is awarded by the Nigerian Media Merit Award Trust, which publishes nominees each year, but Channels always clinches the best station award quite deservedly.

Kudos to Tony Momoh.
