You are making sense bro. They don't run a service centre in Nigeria, so they are not in any way alternative to Tecno phantom 5

. Tecno milking Nigeria? How. All these phones here with heaven don't pay tax, they don't pay workers, no investment in Nigeria or any part of Africa. To me they are even more expensive than the so called Phantom 5.

lols, I don't know for you and others but I personally haven't taken my phone to any service center. The last two phones that I used and the one that I am currently using are China phones with no service center here.

But I'm surprised when people ask if a brand has a service center. The big players don't even care about you. Apple doesn't have a service center, HTC doesn't, not even BlackBerry, and people buy their phones like crazy.

You may need to change your screen or touch due to spoilage, then you will start gilder ultimate search in the entire computer village. It happened to me when I imported a cheap and high quality phone from Aliexpress. The screen broke in a moment of carelessness and I had to order a new screen. The guy sent it after I paid 10usd but it wasn't compatible when technicians changed it. Sometimes even original spares parts do not work even when they are meant for that exact phone. I told d guy and urged him to send me another one for free, which he obliged and the same thing happened. It was at this point I gave up and the phone I still lying idle at home.

People talking about care centers should take a trip to carl care and see how people complain about one thing or another regarding their Tecno phones. While some are fixed, some aren't and the customers are treated pretty bad

Do you know the number companies that don't have care centers here?

Apple, HTC, Asus, Lenovo et al but their products are quite good. So its beyond care centers. There are some customers that have been using these not to common brands for years and don't regret it a bit. These not too common brands are still talked about in some foreign sites but not one has ever talked about Tecno. Infact, if you type in Tecno on Google the listed sites would be Nairaland and Facebook.

With 70k, one can pick any of these phones and still have some change for subscription and and other things.

And don't be surprised to see that some of them will beat Phantom 5 in performance.

One thing you all are missing is,

1. these phones are not selling in Nigeria--you will have to take care of shipping cost and in some cases, custom charges
2. you do not enjoy any after sales service once you buy them--you are on your own
3. These brands you are mentioning are not tried and tested.

What you should do is ship one of them, do a review and I will trust you more and probably buy one through you. But I will never ship a china phone into Nigeria myself and be on my own if there is a problem. I can through away my 30k or 50k.

Else, I will buy the TECNO Camon C8 if I know I do not have 70k for the Phantom 5.
