He told me that most homes there have access to power supply for twenty two(22)hours daily and they use top paid meters.He further said the internet connectivity there is WiFi which is unlimited for like six months at a cost of $90 per month.He even said things are getting better, though the cost of living is high.
Fortunately, I watched a documentary about the civil war in Sierralone last month,a war which was a disaster and lasted for ten years ending in the year 2001. My point is that,if this country could provide this type of power supply and internet connectivity within the space of fifteen years, then most Nigerians should put up their thinking faculty, if they had any.
As far as,I am concerned Nigeria is too big to managed.It is better,she is broken down to manageable units in whatever to succeed. It is annoying to see countries in Africa, who have fought civil wars like Rwanda, Angola and so on in the 90's doing well economically and socially.
Nigeria is a disgrace and it is just a matter of time.

your recently elected President has done nothing (Absolutely nothing) to combat Boko Haram more than 4months after his swearing in.
he travels to a different country daily (doing god knows what).
your economy is on a downward spiral.
no policies to strengthen your weak _ass currency.
more than 89% of the your increasing population lives below 1dollar daily.
no steps have been taken to diversify your ever weakening economy (which I heard is solely dependent on crude)
you cant boast of 20hr power supply daily.
educational system is the best on the planet (same with health-care)
good and accessible roads are everywhere (except) in your wonderful country.
you import basically everything (including wooden toothpicks)
you don't even have portable drinking water all around the country.
common basic amenities are absent.


and you guys take sides and support the same ruling class that's milking your nation dry?

the same people that stole from your fathers, the same people that are stealing from you presently and the same people that would steal from your children and grand-children??!!

and to think this was the same country my Nigerian coursemate was bragging about. his sense of reasoning must be warped

Prostitution is a thriving business here despite their so called social amenities and welfare
People are homeless on the street of London and New York
Nigerians are more happier than your so called Westerners.
70% of your western graduates end up at McDonald's and Grocery stores with no future direction.
90% of western citizens are slaves to their government unlike Nigerians; these citizens borrowed their school fees throughout their days in University. At point of graduation, these kids are already owed about £50,000 as debt; that is about #15million.
A year or two after graduation, these kids want to settle down like every other person, they would approach their banks and borrow another 20% of £300,000(average home price is bow £200,000- £300,000) to put down for a mortgage; that is another £40,000-£60,000.
The remaining £160,000-£240,000 would be spread over 25 years. Is that a life?
These are the bills they would pay on top of all the above accumulated debt. Below is monthly bill of your so called westerners.

Electricity
Gas
Tv licence
Home insurance
MOT
Car insurance
Road Tax
