The match between home clubs,Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars played last week Saturday in Akure, Ondo State was declared inconclusive after football fans said to be loyal to Sunshine Stars, stormed the football field and attacked the referee and other football officials for failing to award their preferred team two penalty kicks.The fans stormed the pitch because they believed the referee has been partial in his officiating.Other reports alleged that the angry fans were Lobi stars supporters.


The official camera man of Lobi stars was also beaten to a pulp during the process while his camera was destroyed. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

Disclosing the news via their twitter handle,Lobi stars Sunshine star fans of attacking them.

This kinda thing will never happen in the east,apart from lagos other states in the west are way back. They don enter one chance be that as LMC will finish them . God bless sunshine for this act cos it makes it easy for my darling team Enyimba to beat them to become champions. Up ENYIMBA

There are so many other factors involved such as security, welfare, orientation, marketing, organization etc.

Meanwhile, fans of Sunshine stars are always sore losers. I hope LMC will deduct about 30 points from the club and fine them about 50million naira

All we need is good security in the stadium, even in EPL. There is always violence *them no born you well, you be liverpool fan come go sidon for watford fans sitting area.
