Five Reasons Why The Zoological Republic Of Lord Lugard Must Fall!! by kingzizzy(op): 4:08pm On Nov 03, 2015
When it comes to issue of Biafra, I would like talk about it from the perspective of the Igbo man that I am. As much as Biafra has always been about the emancipation of the Igbos and like minded minorities that Igbos share a kinship with, I want to speak only for my tribe. It's not for me to speak for other tribes. However, by 'Igbos', I mean all Igbo speaking people and Igboids. This stretches from the Ikwere land of Portharcourt to all Igbo of Rivers state to the 5 SE states to Delta-Igboland or Anioma people to the Igbanke Igbo speaking community of Edo state. And of course, the Igbos of the lower Benue and the Igbo speaking communities of cross River. All these are what I would call "The greater Igbo federation".
My people "Mma Mma nu"

My people, I don't know anybody who does not like freedom. Nigeria has represented a prison since the days that the White man came to our lands to this day. Below I outline my 5 top reasons why the greater Igbo federation should embrace the freedom that Biafra has to offer. Please note that I support the peaceful creation of Biafra through a referendum in which any of the groups I have mentioned above may choose to accept or reject Biafra. However , I also support a violent way of getting Biafra if the oppressesive Nigerian Government refuses to grant us a referendum. There will be no forceful adoption of anyone into Biafra like the way Nigeria was created.

[1]Nigeria was a fraud from inception because we, the indigenous people of the land, were not asked if we want Nigeria. We were Frog-marched at gun point by Lugard into his zoological Republic and we have been there for over a hundred years. How long are we going to be there before we decide what we want? Another hundred years? The time to decide is now

[2] History: We have had 100 years of unity and 55 years of nationhood to see if Nigeria can work. Take a look around you, is Nigeria working? One civil war, millions dead, massive Government ineptitude and corruption, economic stagnation, tribalism and nepotism. Yet someone will say that Nigeria is best for us. Only a fool stands on quick sand for too long. Nigeria is a tragedy and only a fool continues with a tragedy in the vain hope that things will change when all indices point to the contrary. A wise person tries something different or something new.

[3] Igbo Unity: The very existence of Nigeria has destroyed the unity of the greater Igbo nation. We have been used as a 'divide and rule' punching bag so much that some people now answer the name of their artificially created states rather than who they are. In Alabi Isamas book "Tragedy of victory" he recounted a story about when the massacres of Igbos started in the north in 1966. Two Ukwuani women were in a bus in Kaduna when the Bus was stopped at an Army check point that had been erected to find Igbos. The women were brought down by officers because they 'looked Igbo'. Despite the protest of the women that they were not Igbos but Igboid people from the Midwest, the officers searched them, find their work ID cards with their Igbo surnames, then gunned both women down on the spot. It doesn't matter who says they are Igbo or not, wether you are Ika or Ndoki, Ikwere or Ukwuani, you will still suffer the same fate as any Igbo from anywhere. Be it politically, economically or otherwise. In the eyes of a Nigerian, you are Igbo. That is why Biafra is very important to bring us back to the fold and unite us. "If it walks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck, it is a duck"

[4] Resource control: The reason why Nigeria practices the evil known as unitary Governance is because the north do not want anyone to control their resources. Funnily, this same North is richer than the South in terms of solid mineral deposits. But in the norths greedy quest for power, it destroyed the enabling environment that would have seen international investors with the technical know-how, troop in to mine the resources for their benefit. Today, the entire North has become known for sectarian violence and terrorism which has made it a no go area for investors who not only afraid for their investments, but their lives too. So the North heavily depends on the south. In Biafra, there will be only provinces. No states and no Governors. There will be no executive president. There will only a ceremonial president and a prime minister. Every province will control their resources and get at least 50% of what accrues on their land. Ikwere province will control their resouces as will Ndokis,as will Aniomas. I'm an Anambra man with oil and Gas deposits, I also want 50% of it. I say this because nobody will ever control their resources in Nigeria. The North would rather go to war than see this happen. The resources of the south is the life blood of the North so anybody hoping for resource control in Nigeria is wasting their time.

[5] A person without sovereignty is a nobody. Sovereignty is the difference between a master and a slave. For how long are we going to keep listening to the whims and caprices of the Yoruba or Hausa man? What brings us together? Oh I forgot! Lord Lugard! We must take back our sovereignty. We must take back our right of choice. We are an autonomous people, why are we being governed in a strange land called Abuja? Igbo nation, how long will you allow the Yoruba man or Hausa man to decide your destiny? I enjoin all of us to embrace the pathway way called Biafra. We have all it takes to become great people. We have the resources, we have the human potential. So why must it be the zoological Republic Lord Lugard instead of our very on Biafra. Support Biafra so that we may have a new dawn and a new begining.

Godbless you all

Godbless the greater Igbo federation

And Godbless Biafra

Imagine a Yoruba man from Osogbo claiming Ndokis in Rivers state because of oil.
Do u know who Ndokis are in Igbo language and culture? The originators of the famous Akwette fabric
