Chelseafan1:What a shallow way to think! First leg of league match against Madrid in their stadium when nothing except 3 points is on the line, cannot be your yardstick to judge Neymar's effectiveness for Barcelona in relation to Hazard's hazardous inefficiency for you guyz! Neymar's nothing to prove to anyone, let alone some disgruntled Chelsea fans. We won treble last season but we lost 3-1 in first el classico. So what's the point in placing too much emphasis on a match that isn't worth more than 3 pts? ![]() |

I wouldn't want to help Real Madrid (even though I think they have enough pundits on their side to figure this out); but I think that news on Messi might be to unsettle Real Madrid when game time comes and they see Messi's name on the line-up and he saunters onto the pitch. |

Chelseafan1:On the contrary... He will more than turn-up. He is a big game player, and Madrid (like Atletico) are gradually becoming his bitch. My only concern is for the midfield and defence, and also for Suarez to be bale to convert chances that day. We might not create too many goal scoring chances considering the opponent, thats why I will need Suarez to be with his scoring boots that day to convert whatever chance Neymar or the rest of the team will create. That is the day you will fall down and pay homage to the second-in-command. |

dmcdad:Lol...till then, btw, we won't judge him based on that match alone, I just wanna see him turn up well, whatever the outcome of the match is takes nothing away from his CV. That's just gonna be his biggest games this season, I'm sure he's gonna be a lil bit nervous. |
| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad: 4:06pm On Nov 03, 2015 |
Nervous? He has played in bigger stages than this without being nervous, why now? Neymar is a senior player with lots of confidence. After leading a country like Brazil for more than 2 years, why would he be nervous? Chelseafan1: |

Funny enough, he has the big boyz as his bitch. PSG comes to mind here. Atletico comes to mind too. Even Madrid comes to mind. philfearon: |

philfearon:Bro, you are absolutely correct, but there's a difference between those games and this one, a very big difference. Leo Messi won't be playing, that's the difference. ![]() |

dmcdad:Bro, I want you to understand me well, I'm not saying he doesn't turn up well against these big boys, this is a different case cause he's gonna play them without Messi being the centre of attraction and chief architect. Now, Neymar is given the mantle of leadership in Messi's absence, I hope you get me now.? This isn't NT rather Laliga where they get paid weekly and a lot is at stake, playing against CR7, Bale, Ramos, Pepe, Modric, Rodriguez, Kroos, Navas and co, without the exceptional Leo. |

In last season's clasico (At the Bernabeu) Messi had an off game. The first clasico of Neymar's first season (Camp Nuo) where we won 2-1 courtesy of Neymar and Alexis' goals, Messi was as invisible as invisible gets. Also, in Neymar's first season where we played Atletico six (6) times without beating them, Neymar was our best player in those 6 matches. He was closely followed by Alexis. Messi had off games in almost all of them. Infact, those matches brought about some controversies, including one by an Ex-Barca Doc who said Messi no longer has the drive and hunger to play footy. And if you could remember, Martino played Neymar outta position in practically all the big matches. I need not remind you of what Cletic did to us the season prior to Neymar's arrival. They won the match against us when we played on their turf, and drew the return leg in Camp Nuo. The following season, without Messi in the team (with Neymar) we won them home and away. Infact, Neymar singlehandedly destroyed them at the Camp Nuo with a hattrick, plus lots of flicks, shimmies, nutmegs et al. ![]() Disclaimer: I am not in any way trying to take away anything from the football god just to prove Neymar worthy. For all I know, Neymar will never get to Messi's level. No be swear! What I am trying to say here is that, Neymar has nothing to prove to anyone, and against any team. He has done it times without number. Chelseafan1: |

| Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by dmcdad: 5:12pm On Nov 03, 2015 |
My pain now na say, international fixtures just days before El-Clasico. And Croatia invite Rakitic for their yeye friendly, but them leave out Modric. You see? And I bet the likes of Portugal, France and co go leave Ronaldo and Benzema respectively. Even Bale sef. Them fit just invite them, but I guess them no go play. Meanwhile, our star man (Neymar) go dey busy dey battle am against a team like Argentina just days before the match. Hmmm philfearon: |

dmcdad:Are you surprised they didn't invite Modric? Madrid would do anything to win the match, so they need all their players at their best. Don't be surprised if the move to not invite him was made by Madrid. That one no mean say dem no go chop am. |

Suarez: "Neymar and I are different. We both know our role. I won't try to dribble three or four players. That's something for him to do." |
