Why It Is Illogical To Claim That 'PDP' Destroyed Nigeria For 16 Years - Part 2 by LadyExcellency: 7:02pm On Nov 03, 2015 |
Contrary to what Passingshot and most APC Psycophants want Nairalanders to believe, here are real premises meant to put responsibilities squarely on the culpable and appropriate judgment placed on the perpetrators of crimes done against the Nigerian State for the pass 16 years if convicted. I am here to argue the point that: PDP is not Exclusively Responsible for whatever perceived rot in Nigeria at the present. APC should wake-up to their responsibilities hence it is illogical to place all the infractions of the last 16 years on the entity called PDP that have no capacity to serve prison terms for criminal offenses when its members have disembarked. 1. Nigeria is not ruined taken the perspective from what and where we were before 1999. A thing can only be ruined if it goes from bad to worse and never by moving forward no matter how sluggish. Looking at Nigeria's political and socioeconomic welfare and judging by the standard of living pre 29th May, 2015 to our near attainment of millennium development goals compared to pre 1999 under Military Governments, Nigeria has made giant strides not minding how sluggish or the rate anyone wish to tag the flow but nonetheless it hasn't been in the negative. 2. Is PDP responsible for the present state of Nigeria downturn under Buhari? The answer is certainly no. Many world leaders have inherited an Economy in deep mess far worst than what APC will like you to believe Nigeria is presently engrossed in which include failing monetary policies, loss of employment, near collapse of our capital market among other occasioned by loss of momentum gained after peaceful handover of power during which APC had the opportunity to leverage on what the fall in oil prices brought us into but the party mismanaged the golden opportunity to key into the international sympathy by foot dragging and badmouthing the very country it promised Nigerians to turn into paradise should they be voted into power. Rather than plan on how to hit the ground running, it took five months to settle power sharing formula within their party and gave no indication of their readiness to key into the goodwill General Buhari received both pre and post-inauguration. Secondly, Nigeria doesn't run a surplus budget rather we are meant to spend every estimable dine gotten in any fiscal year including the use of supplementary budget to clear any excess income gotten in a calendar year hence APC chieftains have argued in the past that excess crude account is unconstitutional hence it is illogical to expect Nigeria to save for raining days. Judging by the doctrine of responsibility for which businesses and stakeholders take responsibility for wrong done within their domain, care and operations? The only responsibility and penalty the entity called PDP deserved in these blame games under discussion is only "being voted out of power by the electorates" while every other alleged infringement, abuse of power, corruption, executive recklessness and negligence of duty are crimes punishable by law on individuals who engaged directly or otherwise on the aforementioned lawlessness/crimes. Having established the above premise, it now leads us (Nigerians) to beam the light of responsibility on these people who are culpable notwithstanding their present party affiliation or god fathers/sons. Thirdly, judging by the composition of the present day APC for which is composed with not less than 75% of past PDP Stewart, we are therefore compelled to put the responsibility of whatever lapses and mismanagement if any during the PDP's 16 years administration on these wayfaring politicians who hold sway at one time or the other noting that PDP was both the ruling party and a veritable opposition in itself as notable during our periods of democratic experimentation. Let no one deceive you into letting those Hypocrites who moved into APC to regain power because they lost their inclusiveness in reaping us off our common patrimony. Others looted their States to match the so-called corrupt PDPians dollar for dollars thereby helping the people's General get to the presidency hence denting his integrity and making a mockery of the selective war on corruption so-far though nonetheless commendable. https:///elNOM4MnXJ A mother doesn't become childless because of divorce. I didn't even bother myself reading this bullsh*t of a rejoinder. There is no point going back and forth on this topic, PDP destroyed Nigeria and as long as you cannot name the party responsible for Nigeria's ruins, then this thread is nothing but a joke. Obasanjo, Yar'adua and Jonathan are product of APC or is it PDM? Please y'all should not turn common sense on its head, nobody is responsible for the ruins of this country other than the People Deceiving Party, PDP. If Buhari fails, God forbid, won't you wailers use it to campaign against the party to which he belongs? Abegi, don't let me call you guys nitwits. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Who cares who's done what. Association of Political Crooks (APC) or whatever the call themselves these days should fix the darn thing for the benefit of Arewanistan, Oduanistan and whoever follows them. As for me and my family, we await the dawn of the rising sun. #freeNnamdiKanu #freebiafra ! |

PointB:Biafra will never happen. Biafra died the day Ojukwu ran away. This new agitation for Biafra is nothing but a joke. If Ojukwu were alive, he'd tell you this is a pipe dream. I won't tell you to stop dreaming though. Goodluck. 2 Likes |

Let me ask a very pertinent question. Did pdp ever produce all the 36 state governors for the past 16years? If yes, pdp took us many step backward nd if no, those purveyors of falsehood were part of the misrule. 1 Like |

Buhari is an embodiment of failure, thats the truth we wont be told. Why are all Nigeria policies discussed out of the shores of Nigeria? What has Buhari bin able to achieved after 6 months of leadership? Victor attah was a governor in PDP for 8years,grooming thieves like umana umana and co but now he's an apc's warlord aka progressive. Ameachi became an instant Billionaire courtesy of leadership position acquired under the PDP, did the PDP asked him to steal? Saraki, his sister and father turned kwara state into a slum zone meant for dogs, was it the PDP that told them to do that? Have we forgotten Ali ndume the senate majority leader aka boko haram Ronaldo? Nigeria's problem isnt the name of the party but the people in the party. 1 Like |

I don't know why this APC administration is not optimistic on the future of Nigeria instead chooses to give excuses on why they are failing even when the administration is yet to start. |

Nigerians use such phrases to describe instability especially the lack of continuity in Government policies when power chanhes hands. The military era foresaw the largest volume of development in Nigeria including the refineries, petrochemicals, aluminium plants, fertilizer plants, roads and bridges but yet was blamed for the lapses of democracy. It is same with blame being apportioned to PDP. If you study Buhari's Government you will clearly see the imprint of Obasanjo Government written all over it. The only difference is that fight against corruption is more intense now. It was Yar'Adua/Jonathan that destroyed Obasanjo's well thought out policies except for few that survived like banking and telecommunications. So in essence it was Yar'Adua/Jonathan that destroyed Nigeria not PDP. |
