Can you imagine the senselessness of these PDPians and Jonathanians?

Just imagine some of these airheads rejoicing and blaming the new government for a debt of which 80% of it was accrued by their useless administration since August 2014?

Fuel is now 110 in my area....

Buhari's initial gra gra of 56 naira per litre has waned.

Though I am not surprised because when a player is freshly pulled into a match, he will tackle and run vigorously as if his teammates are reluctant in playing well.
Only an exceptional player maintains the vigor and tempo of his game from start to the final whistle but I am afraid because at 72, there are limits to what Buhari can do.

This is one of the reasons i have not taken the opposition party PDP seriously.
Most of the economic backslashes we are experiencing now was inherited. The opposition will be quick to point out how bad our economy has degenerated forgetting that some of us are more intelligent and reasonable to know that the economy of a nation does not start crashing in a matter of months. It is a build up of failed policies and programmes cluelessly initiated or poorly implemented.
They're always quick to point to the positives of this present administration as a programme conceived and initiated by the GEJ but will distance themselves from the mess they created. What a hypocrisy!
Nigerians have no option than to wait patiently for PMB led administration as he clean the aurgen table left behind by the crooked and perversed government of GEJ.
To set the record straight, more than 50%of this debt was carried over from the previous government making the present administration to start from an indebted position.
Some of una get serious problem.. Wen GEJ wanted to remove d same subsidy dat dis marketers are using to rip d country off and hold us to ransom, D APC mobilized Nigerians against d govt with lavish parties and protests against the move. Fast forward a few months to d end of the GEJ administration and dey conspired to shutdown d nation in the name of fuel scarcity and d govt owing dem. Maybe Apollo did not allow u read dat they are owed October and November claims. Kip consoling urselves by shifting and heaving blames. It's 6months already and dey campaigned with the promises of preferring solutions to these problems so let them face it squarely and stop wailing.

Fine...... Let assume the remaining 20% is from this new government just under few months....... Unlike the 80% after many years which I'm still sure many were incurred by the government before GEJ.... Now check the statistics you one chance victim

Problem is there is no money to pay for the subsidy because the money that would have been used to pay for the subsidy has been falling with the fall in oil price.

That is why it is a good idea to remove the subsidy. We can no longer pay for it.

1.Most of the debt is from the administration of your hero GEJ.

2.The simple reason why we have the debt is because Nigerians do not want to pay N200 for fuel.(For once I do not blame the govt).

3.We do not have enough money to pay for subsidising fuel.....not yesterday, not now. It was clear a decade ago that fuel subsidy was not sustainable....but you people don't like fuel price increase.

4.Price of fuel is going to go up....until we have built more refineries to cater for our fuel needs.

Those of you supporting the present government need to learn to research well before making statements.

GEJ left with less than 200bn debt to oil marketers.

In fact, the last major strike in May was caused when there was dispute as to the money owed. Marketers claimed it was 200bn while NOI insisted it was 131.

Read here and stop being smart by half.

. Your president has been running the economy for six good months without direction? His there blaming the past government, when PDP took over from the then military govt the economy was worst than the way it is now, they never complained. Buhari is running the Nigerian govt and finance related issue like a Ponzi scheme.....smh.

1.That's a flawed analogy.Ponzi schemes run differently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

2.Nigeria;s problem is that all our money comes from resource dependency. Note....I did not say oil (although oil does provide 99% of our resources....slight exaggeration). When the prices of your resource goes down.....the amount of cash you have in the treasury goes down....so you do not have enough money to spend on anything...especially subsidies.

3.Right now....thanks to the fall in oil price....we are running out of money. That is why GEJ , in one of the few wise decisions he made, tried to remove subsidy. Nigerians, unfortunately, have suffered too much, and subsided fuel is the only benefit they get from govt. Thus any increase in price...both in 2012 and even now...is going to be seen as anti-people.

4.Buhari is going to have to remove the subsidy. And we are going to run an austeirty government. Simples.

5.Sorry....but if PDP had removed the subsidies ages ago...even before GEJ and focused more on dealing with corruption and improving industrial output....we won;t be here.

I have never in my life seen people who are so hypnotized and mentally enslaved like APC supporters....I am not surprised though, slaves have no option in life...Whereever the master goes, slaves go...The annoying part is that these slaves are not reasonable enough to know that any one that opposes Buhari is not neccesarily a PDP supporter.....You can call me a wailer, better to be a wailer than being a slave...it is worse when a 'malam' is the slave master...maybe that's why the Buhari supporters follow him religiously....Brace up and each man should fight for his life...waiting for this govt to change your life is the purest form Of insanity. Fashola was the gov for 8years in Lagos, poverty still exists even in Alausa,..Jonathan was president, that did not change the lives of people in Otuoke....these politicians do not have what it takes to bring about a change...PDP is corrupt, but as someone that has worked in the financial industry for over 10years, APC officials are mostly corrupt...It baffles me that youths that are supposed to be educated allow themselves to be pawns.....For Buhari to have become our president in this age, that means we are still not capable of self governance, just like our other African nations...I think blacks need DNA adjustment.

He won't do it....we do not have the money for that kind of subsidy....so Nigerians better stop deceiving themselves.

Low oil price is a myth.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE are increasing pump price....and they have far more money stored than does Nigeria.
