The decision was a dramatic step away from a core Communist Party position that Deng Xiaoping, the Chinese leader who imposed the policy in the late 1970s, once said was needed to ensure that “the fruits of economic growth are not devoured by population growth.” For China’s leaders, the controls were a triumphant demonstration of the party’s capacity to reshape even the most intimate dimensions of citizens’ lives. misspresident:Our people are still having children indiscriminately without any care as to their economic and social well being. My worker earns 30k a month but she has 7 children all under 19!!! |

By 2050 world population is expected to clock 9billion and with China's new policy i am seeing that being a reality. Nigeria is a hugely populated country and this also contributes to the headache in the rule of government here in Nigeria. I think Sex Counselling and Birth control education campaign should be encouraged mostly in our sub-urban and rural areas. Educate the parents on the need for birth control and limited number of Children in relation to your income in order to give the ones you have the best life you can give. For me i am team 2 kids, 3 at most if bae insists..  |
