Ojukwu, the leader of secessionist Biafra, campaigned for presidency more than once. I believe he campaigned against Obasanjo twice in 2003 and 2007.
Igbos trusted a Yoruba man than their own leader. Even in the last elections (2011/2015), many igbos were on the ballot, but once again, Igbos campaigned for an Ijaw man.

If Igbos hate themselves, who else would vote for an igbo president? Yorubas? Fulanis-Hausas, Ijaws, Middle-beltans?
